What a great experience!! I highly recommend Jesse to do your piercing. I had my nose pierced and my high school student, from my homeroom, had her belly button pierced. Jesse explained everything thoroughly about the after care and what to expect for the next 4-6 weeks. I cannot submerge myself in a pool. We will clean our piercings 3x a day, etc. After 4=6 weeks, I can change my piercing and get one that has a back so I do not lose it. My homeroom student, and her Mom, told me that this place is the best and it is worth the extra $ to have piercings done here. I agree. The vibe is laid back. I liked the tattoos that 2 people got. Shelley (the piercer) immediately noticed how nervous and shaky I was. I told her about the potential septum pain, and she taught me that it was a misconception, and assured me that I was in good hands. I went in for a walk in just yesterday. The first red flag should have been the shop minimum of $150, though that evaded me, so i continued on. I wanted something super simple! Just over an inch wide and not even an inch tall, thin line work, no colors. definitely not worth $150! Again, fully evaded me. Told the artist what I wanted, and I filled out paperwork while he sketched. He showed me a very clean and simple and beautiful design, perfect, right? When he actually went to put it on my body, the line work got incredibly sloppy, looking almost like a doodle in a school notebook. filled in parts had gaps, lines were shaky, and the consistency and niceness of the piece went completely down the toilet. Still made me pay $150 for that mess. Absolutely unbelievable. Great first tattoo experience!! read more

My sister and I wanted to take our niece to get her ears pierced so I called to make an appointment and they said we could just walk in. A couple days later we walk in and were notified that the piercer was out for lunch. I had wanted my nose pierced for a while. Just happened to be in the area. Found The Ink House here on Yelp and noticed that Jazz had some great reviews! I checked out the website and her personal instagram and saw that she had many, many happy clients! I contacted her the day before and she was super helpful and quick to respond. When we arrived the next day there were several people waiting to get pierced. But even with her being so busy, she was prompt at answering my texts before we arrived. I waited maybe 15-20 minutes, filled out my consent form, and she even asked me about metal allergies. I am allergic to nickel and she let me know about the standard jewelry and how it has traces of nickel in it. So we went with titanium. She was super sweet, personable, and fun to chat with. The shop is fun and clean and the vibes are awesome. Jazz had a great setup and she talked me through everything. And when the time came for the poke, it was super easy! She said it would feel like plucking a nose hair, and it did! The price was more than reasonable and Jazz is just a great person and piercer.
