Not only was he incredibly professional, his talent is unreal. I came by Inkfatuation in July to get my tongue pierced. I spoke with Flaca about getting the piercing and she was very detailed about how the piercing process would go. I was ready to get the piercing done that day so she took me in as a walk-in. Before getting the piercing done, she gave me all the needed paperwork to read over and sign, along with some covid precaution forms. After signing the papers, she took me to a room in the back part of the shop. When I got to the room, she introduced me to her apprentice. Her apprentice was in training and was going to watch me get my piercing done. While I was in the process of getting pierced, Flaca talked to me the whole time letting me know what she was going to do next. The piercing was done very quick and came out great. After making my payment, Flaca gave me a pamphlet on aftercare. She also mentioned that if I had any questions I could message her on Instagram at any time. Because of the good reviews I saw from this place I thought of checking it out and getting one for myself. I don't remember the artist who did my tattoo but right off the bat I got the vibe that the artist didn't have a lot of client's hence the reason their front desk kept insisting to go to him and I understood that afterwards. I basically requested to get a tribal band with both him and I agreeing to a fixed price even though i thought it was overpriced. Later as he is half way done he mentions that i would need to pay more to finish the rest as i quote "it needs more ink than I thought". In my head I felt played because of the unprofessional sudden changes he made. He could have easily let that go due to the fact that he agreed on the price he quoted as well as a courtesy to acknowledge he fucked up Not only is the artist unprofessional but is also unsanitary. The whole time his hands smelled like dead carcass. I don't think he washes his hands at all. He rarely changed his paper towel that he used to wipe. The stool I had my arm resting wasn't covered in plastic wrap and the whole time i was twisting and turning my arm was just rolling in my own blood. After everything was done I left the tattoo shop with paper towel wrapped around my arm without even applying any cream on it so removing it after was a nightmare. Note that even though I didn't say anything the whole time in my defense I simply respected this man's act and observe everything he did. After all I can't change the way this man worked. Who's to say he won't go back to his bad habits. Overall I've had a bad experience going here and will never come back again. read more

Dillon Taylor: a great artist but very unprofessional. He rescheduled three times all last minute and with no excuse. When we finally got a time to do It - he said we'd start at 9 and we started at 12. Finally I scheduled a tattoo (another one) with Dillon and yet again he hits me up 20 hours before and tries to reschedule. His excuse - his daughters field trip. My reply - "your daughter has a field trip at 6:00pm" his response "we scheduled for 6pm?" Like I said - incredibly unprofessional. I've been coming to get pierced by Flaca since 2018 and I haven't gone to a different piercer since. She fixed my botched belly button piercing and uses implant grade titanium jewelry for all of her piercings which is great for me since I have sensitive skin. She has a the biggest selection of quality jewelry I have ever seen, there is seriously something for everyone in her jewelry case. Not only has she fixed piercings of mine, but she also created a custom bar to fit from my rook to my conch. Every time I get pierced I feel super comfortable and she walks you through the whole process as well as gives an you aftercare pamphlet to make sure you take the best care of your new piercing. Shop was clean but that's all I can tell you as I only walked in their to buy nose jewelry. The piercer wasn't there, therefore no one was able to help me with what I was looking for in particular. The tattoo artists on the other side of the shop didn't know what was what or where the nose jewelry was.at.all. They kept saying "oh the piercer, she isn't here so I don't know where anything is". I find this unprofessional, because, since they didn't have any knowledge on the products they're selling on display in the very front of their store ... I had to settle for some jewelry pieces that were not my first option but I wanted to be my last because they were so expensive. However, when I decide to go for it, I ask them if credit card is okay as a form of payment and the man said "no, the shop doesn't accept credit card but she does" referring to the piercer. But the piercer isn't there. SO.. I had to go down the list... debit card okay? "No. Only PayPal or cash". Which are two things I don't have. Especially for the amount they were asking for. Thankfully, my boyfriend had cash and we were able to pay the amount due BUT then after handing him the money the issue was now getting me change. I mean, wtf? You're a business. Why are you going around to your employees (or fellow colleagues) asking them for change and promising to give it back to them when you don't even have the change yourself? It was another unprofessional pet peeve. Personally, I want to be able to go into any store and purchase an item without the worry of not having the payment that they need specifically. Anywhere else my form of payment would have been acceptable. Customers SHOULD NOT be catering to you, YOU should be catering to the customers.
