It is kept clean, the people are respectable and it is next to a great corner store with a solid cafe inside. They hire thieves. I'm highly disappointed in this establishment. I wash my clothes every week there, and on Sunday I left my clothes in one of the dryers because it was extremely busy I had to separate all my clothes into different areas, I forgot one load. There was a small woman sweeping there when I was washing. I come back the next day because the woman in the morning told me they had a lost and found, when I asked for my stuff back she said the cleaning people love to steal the clothes. I said how long do you even wait til you steal them she looked me in the eyes and said two days. She went and asked the small cleaning lady who was there, she made up a lie on the spot and how was I to confront her over my stuff? I thought very highly of this place. I don't recommend it. This laundromat is always clean, has change machines that work, they have industrial size machines that do blankets and quilts to smaller machines. The dryers are efficient and there are a good number of them. Plenty of carts. The owner is very attentive. The staff recovered a favorite blanket that got left behind. The staff is professional and the premises are always CLEAN. I chose this place all the time. The cleaners next door is a very good neighborhood resource. At THE BLACK RABBIT next door the sandwiches (panini ) are delicious! I had the tomato & avocado salad (5*). There is also frozen yogurt. I had to do laundry and I was hungry, so I ordered a sandwich & salad from next door. This corner offers so much to the neighborhood. Everyone here is so nice! read more

Don't listen to these paid reviews. The big washers do not strain your clothes at all! I usually air dry my shirts and I left a puddle of water which I hope no one falls but there is not even paper towels or a mop so that I can clean it. This is my 1st time coming to this facility and I am very impressed with the machines that operate here. Most places and machines don't wash really well and it takes lots of coins just to dry the clothes really well. This place goes above and beyond what I expected. I thought I was going to have to use a lot of money use a lot of money and I didn't have to use a lot of money. Even the dryers dry very very well. The owner is hands on and says hello to all the customers. He is very friendly and will try to help you the best way he possibly can. I noticed it when he help an older lady with her wash. I hardly ever take the time to leave bad reviews but right off the bat I felt uncomfortable coming here. I went to get quarters for the machine as my wife was loading the washers. The change machine was off so I walk next door to the cleaners (which I guess is the same owner) I asked the lady standing there behind the counter if she knew who worked at the laundry and she responded with "YES, why? What's the problem?" I said that I was trying to get quarters and she says " we turn them off so people that aren't doing laundry don't get quarters, are you washing?" I said yes and she said "are you sure? I said yes she said ok well how much do you need? While looking at me as if I was a criminal or something "because if you're not washing I can't give you quarters" I'm wondering now if she makes the quarters herself anyway I will not be returning to this overly suspicious organization. read more

I looked long & hard in Los Angeles to find a reasonably priced/ sterile environment to wash my personal things especially during these times. I was so relieved to finally find the cleanest laundromat in the valley! I brought a heaping pile of my bedding, blankets and clothes. When loading the dryers, Greg, the owner saw that I was adding my clothes into one of the top loaders. He nicely asked me if he could make a suggestion and showed me their other washers- which apparently wash what I was trying to wash more thoroughly & for the same price! He helped me take all my clothes out of the previous washers and added them into the proper ones! I live down the street and my apartment building has shared laundry, but the machines are so small that I found myself having to do multiple loads that would cost me at least $5 (without including drying) every week. I found this laundromat and I'm now able to fit all my clothes in the $3 washers, instead of having to divide my clothes in multiple washers. I also like that you can control how long the dryers run for (a quarter for 8 minutes) and the temperature of the heat. I can dry my week's worth of clothes, including my bath towel, for 40 minutes on medium heat, which only costs $1.25. The facility is clean, there's always machines available, they have a quarter machine, and if you need any assistance the owners are right next door. Oh, and the washers and dryers are so fast! I'm in and out in about 70 minutes. read more

I feel like the 3.5 star rating is misleading or that the folks who have rated this establishment highly need to expand their laundromat experience base. First impression, a no frills laundromat. This is not a place where you come in to relax and jump on the wifi while your clothes spin their way to cleanliness. As I moved to the double load washers I was met with taped up lids and those machines that were open were filthy (see picture). The sink area is a mess and the faucet has no handle. The liqour store next door has a bunch of folks sitting out front who hit you up for change and while I was drying my clothes, one of them required medical attention. Nothing special, just get your laundry done on the cleanest machines you can find and go home. I definitely will not be back unless there is a mass closing of laundromats in the surrounding area. read more

I came here for the first and last time. I came around 8:45 because it closes at 10:30. I had to ask around for help because the coin dispenser wasn't in service. I was told the owner is next door. I asked for assistance and he was on the phone and said he would be right over. I waited about 5-10 minutes and asked again for help and his response was "sorry, I forgot" LOL. I put my duvet and mattress topper in two separate machines and wait for them to wash. Once they're finished I put my items in the dryer, which would take an hour, so I went to pick up my take out. At this point it's about 9:30 and the place closes at 10:30 so I knew I was only going to be 15 mins. I come back and everything is closed. This is my neighborhood laundromat. I go here monthly for when my complex laundry machines are busy. Left a huge load of clothes and came back to see they were gone. Called the owner later that day and he told me to come back and he'll take me to the back to check, brought me to the back where an employee put our clothes safely in a bag. I usually do laundry here and the owner is always fixing one machine or another. Today I used the single load top washer for a heavy load on hot water. It filled up with cold water! I went next door to tell the owner and he came at me with; "using the cheapest load for $1.25 doesn't give hot water"! And when I told him it was $1.75 for heavy load, he said "that the single washers don't give hot water". I always come here so I know that hot water DOES come out from those washers I told him that. So then he asks " what do you want me to do"? I told him if he can give me credit on another washer because it's a white clothes load and hot water is best for that. The big washing machines I used, were great & the dryers worked well. So besides the smaller washers being out of order, the dirty floor, little folding space & dirty counters... it was ok. A lady had her dog on the folding counter. I won't be coming back to this laundromat. **I was so annoyed earlier when I was at the laundromat, that I rushed out without my new bed sheets. Hours later I called & they were nice enough to check if they were still there such they were. I changed my rating from a 2 to a 3. This is my second time coming to this laundromat. Today is a Tuesday evening the last time I came it was a Saturday morning. Both times I have been able to find machines and get in and out quickly. Maria who was working tonight was great! She assisted me with choosing the right size washer and explaining which level of heat was best for the type of items I needed to dry. We have been coming to the laundromat for about 4 years now. Although we have a laundry in our building this place is always cleaner. I have had little issues like quarters getting stuck or maybe machine didn't start but out of 4 years and coming to wash every week or every 2 weeks this has happened less than 5xs. The good thing about that the owner is next door or there's staff inside to assist you with any issues who are very helpful and nice. The customers are very respectful and helpful (especially since I come to wash sometimes with my son who is 10 Months right now). They have very large machines (so big i think I might be able to fit inside). Various of different machine sizes. They have a restroom for customers and tv. This is my favorite laundromat in the Valley. Even when I left the area I continued to drive back over here (in LA traffic that's serious praise) in order to do large loads like bedding and nicer going out and work clothes. The front load washers here are much easier on clothes and I got tired of clothes being damaged or destroyed by the old equipment I had access to. There are super large washers for comforters, smaller front load washers for regular sized clothing and inexpensive top loaders if needed. The owner is nearby so it's always clean and machines are repaired. It has a great mom & pop vibe of a truly well-cared-for business where the customers are thought about and often even known by name. Good hours and coin machine on site just in case. I've been coming here for a few years now and it's always been clean...until lately. I don't know what's going on. I informed the lady at the dry cleaners and the reason given is that the maintenance person has the day off... I think it might be time to hire additional help because I'm starting to get grossed out. There's pet hair left all over the floor and in the front loader machines, it's incredibly dusty and people leave their dryer sheets on the floor where someone can easily slip. I moved into this area two years ago. Since then, I have come here weekly to do laundry. Clean, well-lit, good size parking lot. In the last 6 months or so, they have allowed the top loaders (least expensive washers) to fall into disrepair and be out of order for weeks on end. The last time I came (end of December), all but 4 were out of order and one person was using 3 of them. I refuse to pay 50 cents more per load when the washers at that price point are smaller than the top loaders. So, I've taken my business elsewhere. I'm still paying for the use of the dryers! This makes no sense and the rude and abrupt way the manager or owner came up to me to tell me just showed me that he doesn't want my business. I've gone to this laundromat from time to time when our apartment laundry machines are broken. I've never had a problem here and would have normally given it four stars for cleanliness and decent clientele. HOWEVER.... This afternoon I washed my clothes at home only to find out my dryer was broken ($3.75 later). So I figured I'd just go to my usual spot. We walked in with two loads of wet laundry. As I entered the owner came up to us and told us that in order to use the dryers we had to use the washers. We told him how the dryer broke on us and I offered to pay him the money for the wash. He said it wasn't about money. It's about people who hand wash and use his dryers. Well I gather there are a lot of people in Los Angeles using rocks and washing boards to hand wash their laundry in the dried up river. And I'm sure that there are people at their little houses on the prairie that have busted their laundry lines but this certainly wasn't the case with us. Simply wanted to pay some quarters to dry my laundry. Guess you can't do that here. read more

I go here occasionally when I have three plus loads and don't want to do them singularly at my apartment plus they increased the price there and it's cheaper here... It has AC and two plasma TVs but usually it's too loud to hear anything. Crowd varies between quiet types and noisy, shouts people. Today is quiet and there are plenty of machines available.
