I went here shortly after it opened because our washers broke, and the new ones got delayed in transit. The place was clean and well kept, plenty of laundry carts to use and the machines were all new and functioning. The place is clean, and luckily because I came here early in the morning there was parking but I can see how if it were a different time there wouldn't be parking. A three load was a bit pricey. I came here because it was close to where I was dog and house sitting. The one I usually go to, the three loads isn't $4.50, I believe it was roughly $3.75. Also, there is only one giant dryer which is $0.50 but honestly it didn't really dry my clothes after putting it in twice. I almost felt cheated out of $1. Clean and efficient but not my cup of tea to spend that much for the load and dry. But that's just my penny pinching mindset. read more

I paid $4.50 per load for the front-loading machines. At the end of the cycle, my clothes were sopping in soap. Suds everywhere, despite the fact that I had only put in a little bit of liquid detergent. Really????? So, I put ALL THE LOADS THROUGH AGAIN (joy of joys, on a broiling day, spending way more time at the LAUNDROMAT!) at $4.50 each, AGAIN, and still, suds everywhere!!!! DO NOT USE THOSE FRONT LOADERS!!!!!!!!!!!! These machines are terrible. read more

When you come to a laundry mat you expect that your clothes will come out cleaner than they went in. Not always true at this establishment. They are very over priced and so I wasted about $21 on 3 machines because I had to re-wash my clothes. I complained but the attendant pretended like she only spoke Spanish. I know a little Spanish but not enough to argue. read more

It's my second time doing laundry here today, first time I thought it was a fluke. But my clothes came out smelling like old photographs! I did three huge loads today and used all scentless products. And it happened again. I am having to go rewash my clothes again someplace else. Such a bummer cause this place is so close to me. I set a timer for my washers and as I came back in from the parking lot, my things were being moved to the laundry carts by a Hispanic and/or Latino female attendant, come to find out, at the request of a White female guest that wanted to use a complete row of washers and my machines had just stopped. It had been appx. 6 months since I'd done laundry and it was 113 degrees outside. It was also my birthday weekend and LIKE HELL I'M DOING LAUNDRY ON MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND. Being 100% out of clean underwear, I decided to treat myself to a fluff and fold, and after carefully explaining to my husband that a fluff and fold isn't what he thought it was, I dropped off several truckloads at the Laundry. It was weighed, I was quoted a very reasonable price, and told to come back in a few days. ...but all of a sudden I had to go out of town. Whoops! It was an emergency so off I went. I bought underwear there, so calm down. The Laundress texted me to let me know my clothes were ready, and when I explained that I was on the other side of the country she assured me that it was no problem. I came back a week later and my clothes were right there waiting for me! Right there in plastic bags, FOLDED TO PRISTINE PERFECTION. What a lovely way to treat yourself, if you have the extra cash. It is CASH, btw - and there are specific hours to drop-off and pick up. And parking can be a nightmare - but this felt like peak self care and I can't wait to visit again in another 6 months or whenever I run out of undies again. Kudos to these hard-working, kind women and thank you for not minding that I was so delayed picking them up!! read more

New to the area so thought I would try out a nearby laundry-mat and they price for washers that are not even for bulk size laundry is too much plus they don't advertise how other laundry mats do based on size load. Also, the dryer is one quarter for 6 minutes only that's high robbery. Overall, a single star because of the price, non advertisement, and employees with judging faces . read more

Looks like Buzz's got a new name and some new machines! I only come here when I need to wash my comforter. This place used to be really dingy and old but they've slowly replaced all of the machines with new ones. The prices on the new machines are a bit higher but what isn't these days, lol. The best thing the new washer did was give me a count down on how long it would take and how much longer it would be. Plus it was only 24 minutes so I just stayed put! So if you thought this place was gross and scary give it another try, it's gotten better! read more

I'm usually not a huge huge fan of Laundromats in general, but the laundry appliances in my apartment building were out of service this week so I didn't seem to have the choice. Luckily for me this place was just a block away from my place. Conveniently, priced exactly the same as the ones in my building except that it cuts out tons of waiting time in between loads. I find that I might just choose this location over the ones in my building because if I'm paying the same here but for must faster drying process elsewhere, I mean come on! Do I need to really do the math for you on why its just all around better? The free wifi didn't work at all for me. My top notch Mac-book wasn't able to maintain a decent signal for the whole time I was there. I suppose beggars can't be choosers ;) This place is very clean, well maintained, those dryers are insanely fast and efficient. I brought in two loads to wash, usually at my apt building it takes about a combined 3 hours to do 2 loads, but thanks to Sherman Oaks Coin Laundry I was in and out within only an hour! I'll definitely be back, but someones gotta restart that internet modem or something.. 5/5 stars. read more

I have never done laundry here, but I use their fluff and fold all the time! $1.25 a pound means I can do my laundry about every 2 weeks for about $15 a time and I don't have to waste any time! It comes fresh, fluffed, folded or hung if you want them to. Tips: Bring your own hangers, anything over 5 and they charge. If you want something done on cold and low dry they will do it- you just have to ask. Drop off early for same day service. Call ahead to make sure they're there before pick up and haven't gone out for a lunch break. Its a hubby and wife running the laundry- they're awesome and even got me a Christmas card and a box of truffles for a thank you gift :) read more

A terrible attitude toward a customer instead of explaining their rule in a nice way and getting back to chatting in spanish language. Feeling very bad, I shouldn't believe their 4 stars yelp review. I start doubting nice yelp reviews that all good reviews seems made by friends mostly. And this store is definitely one of those with the fake-nice-reviews. Very small parking lot as well that you, sometimes, need to wait in your car more than 15 min until somebody leaves. The worst experience ever in this Sherman Oaks area. When this place was first sold, the new owners were super conscientious. It was always clean, they put in brand new dryers, the signage was replaced. The prices went up a bit, and the parking here has always been dicey, but it was totally worth it for the upgrades. But lately, things have kind of fallen apart. It's not nearly as clean as it was at first, the washers are constantly broken, and their fluff and fold service has a 3-day turnaround (sometimes longer!), which just doesn't compete with other nearby 'mats that'll do it next day. I came in this week at 6am and there were no available toploaders. Not because there were so many people there, but because most of the washers were out of order. As a laundromat, having 8 out of 15 washers out of order just isn't acceptable (see photos). I've been coming to this place for a decade. Since it was Buzz's. But I think I need to find a laundromat that can keep up with repairs and with the growing needs of paying customers. read more

Have my own Laundry at home and came here to better wash my cover! I left the cover washing and when I came back the cycle was not done, it was full of soap, and the cover was completely wet. I tried asking for help and for them to make the washer spin again and told me that they couldn't. They told me to cycle again. Sorry don't feel to pay got another $7 cycle so I told her I was just going to take it and they wouldn't even give me a bag to put the wet cover in. Super mad at the horrible service and response. Clean, inexpensive, and friendly employees make this an excellent place to get insane amounts of laundry done quickly. I do 8-10 loads and am finished in 1.5-2 hours including folding. The place is super clean. They could use more seating and a better bathroom, but it's still 5 stars. read more

A laundromat seems like an odd thing to review, but had it not been for Yelp, I wouldn't have known where to spend my fluff n' fold Friday night. This laundromat is clean, with easy parking and just half a mile from my apartment. I have full laundry facilities at home, but if you, like me are ready to do some spring cleaning and wash your duvet and towels and duvet covers all at once, this is a good place to do it. They have those massive machines for $3 and $6. They also have the standard ones for $1.50 per wash. They have massive dryers too and they are $0.25 per 8 minutes of drying. I found that a large load required $1.00 of drying time. I'm not sure how busy it gets on weekends but on a Friday night, the place was all mine. I have read that they offer free WiFi and there is a Mexican restaurant next door if you get hungry. I'm sure I will be back and maybe even do like Camila D. and just drop my stuff off to be washed for me! #ballin read more

It's a laundromat, so there isn't a ton to say... It's clean and the staff is friendly. There's the option to drop off your laundry and have them do it for $1.25/lb--pretty standard price. They have washing, and drying, machines of every size; from massive 6 load machines to your basic single load machine. A few TVs are scattered throughout and they have free WiFi. I'd suggest coming here during a weekday, as it gets pretty busy on the weekends. There's a private parking lot, which is also shared by the adjacent businesses, but space is fairly limited. read more

Hadn't used a laundromat in man years so needed help figuring out which machine & how many quarters to use to wash a king size comforter. The employees are pleasant and helpful. The heat on the dryers runs a little hot. I dried a throw rug on low and it damaged it. read more
