Then as soon as that came they had no softshells and again took time to replace. Then ran out of plates, same story. Each time me having to run and tell them we needed items and it taking forever for it to be replaced. An embarrassment and beyond disappointing as guests kept trying to go get food and could not get their full meal. I spent time on what should have been a dinner celebrating an upcoming wedding, constantly having to tell the staff what was missing in order for us to eat. In the end the upper management person I talked to was completely unprofessional and 'decided' what was 'fair' for a refund and told me there was no response needed from me as our conversation (thru email) was going nowhere. So beyond upsetting as we were hoping for a beautiful event for our wedding weekend and it was a complete embarrassment. It's over 1200 sq feet and window views of the eau Claire river in both bedrooms and living room. King bedroom has 2 sides of window view of river. Queen bedroom has 1 side window view of downtown. Breakfast at hotel restaurant was nice with daily $30 credit with diamond level. Kids loved large screen TVs in all 3 rooms. Free parking for diamond members. Day 1: Visited Oakwood mall to play bowling at Scheels with son then saw oakwood toy train exhibit. Afterwards my son played claw machine at claw Kraze. Day 2: Visited 4treasures indoor playground with kids and loved the ball pit, ninja course, and arcade room. The Lismore had maker fair at their convention halls next door. My son got a 67 fidget keychain. Then we visited children museum of Eau Claire. Afterwards, we decided to see Christmas lights at Christmas village at Irvine park in Chippewa falls. This place was great when it was new, but I'm seeing now it was only because it was new. The room was definitely not clean. There was visible dirtiness everywhere. I'm pretty disgusted by how unclean the room was this time. We've been staying here for two-four nights every other month and this place just keeps getting dirtier. One positive thing was the woman working during the Sunday breakfast was so nice. Totally on top of things, great customer service skills, very pleasant. I always have a great time, I love that they give their lifeguards a break every 1.5 hours, it has to strain your eyes. There is only 2 things I wish they had; more shaded spots and a separate pool for adults to relax in away from the kids, but close enough we can keep an eye on them. But will go back again and again!
