In fact, it's really back to the old school way of family medicine. Where she listens to what sort of problems you may be having and then treats you with your comments in mind. That's what medicine is about. Reminds me of a line in the hippocratic oath: "...I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick." This practice does treat you like a sick human being. And you just can't go wrong with that these days when other institutions treat you like a cog in a manufacturing factory.

He removed the failed total knee implant (Depuy Attune) and then performed the required medical procedure to install the new revision knee replacement. This review relates to the hospital facility. UNC Hillsborough is a new facility and should be a model for all future and existing hospitals. The rooms are large and modern. The accommodation's in the room allow for a family member to stay with the patient in comfort. The couch/love seat converts into a bed. The staff ensures that sheets and blankets as well as pillows are provided for the family member. The person or family member staying with the patient can order food from the menu as well and utilize their credit/debit card for their purchases. The food is made to order with a wide variety to choose from, as well as tasting excellent. The nursing staff, doctors, physical therapy, housekeeping and all other discipline's involved with your care have been hand picked (selected) due to their dedication and devotion to their chosen careers. Not that I enjoy being in a hospital but if the need arises and I have my choice UNC Hillsborough is where I want to be treated. Thanks to everyone involved withmy care at this facility.

Therefore: I went for my make-up FAA physical on Friday, and was treated (almost) like royalty! The staff was ready for me (although I had again shown up early). Everything was done smoothly and efficiently. I was also made to feel like a person, not some cog in a machine. The staff person behind the desk treated me almost like an old friend; the nurse was pleasant and professional, as was the lab technician. ...and Dr. Guiteras was able to make me laugh at the end of a long week! All in all, a MUCH more pleasant visit to the doctor than I had ever expected. Thanks to Dr. Guiteras and his staff!

I have never encountered such a dedicated person and Practice. He or his partner are always available, even for over night and very early AM crises.
