Burger was too good to not dive in right away and had to grab a picture halfway though

This place deserves a much higher rating! Not sure why several people say it's great food and service yet give it three or four stars. Definitely deserves five stars all the way around. Burgers are fantastic and the service is super quick!!!

Good food and fairly priced. Will go back again and would recommend this place to a friend.

Nice lil hole in the wall restaurant. Shirley, the owner is usually always in back cooking, and comes out to say Hi. I like the fried chicken buffet, as its good food for a good price, $6.99 plus drink, all you can eat, mashed potatoes, veggies, few other homemade type items and salad bar. No gravy for the mashed potatoes which seems odd to me. They open very early in the morning and close early evenings. Nice home cooked style meals for decent price. Burgers and fries are good too, small patties, but low cost, so I get 2 orders, ha. Service is OK and as expected. They do have free wi-fi too.

This is the second time we stopped here when we drive through Indiana, i couldn't remember what town it was in... so we were happy this morning when we finally saw the sign painted on the brick building. We like the place because of their fried chicken buffet (less than 20$ for 2 people) if it tastes like your grandmom's cooking, that's because shirley has been cooking here for 50 years. Is not a fancy restaurant, and the bathroom needs remodelling, but this is a great taste of small town American Home Style cooking.

Went once and never again. HORRIBLE food quality cooked poorly. Small diner experience shouldn't outweigh quality. Blech.

It was delicious, and we've eaten there a few times since and always have a great experience. We both have been wanting to try some of their lunch specials, but we work and can't get there to check it out. We were off today and decided to go there for lunch because they were having chicken and noodles, and that's one of my favorite meals. It did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and even ordered seconds to go, so we could have it for dinner. The chicken and noodles came with mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, and a roll. You could definitely tell the food was homemade too. Delicious! The Farmhouse Diner isn't a very big restaurant and can get pretty busy. It reminds me of a little country diner where all the local farmers and their wives go to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. We will definitely be going back.

They have pancakes the size of a large dinner plate! Service quick! Quiet, friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place to stop. Name changed to Flying Pig Diner. Locals are very friendly. Large back parking lot, room for at least 3-5 big rigs. Worth a stop!

I had the Pride Pizza and my husband had the Spaghetti and meatballs! These meals did not disappoint us! I hate greasy pizza and this pizza was so good! (I will still stand by that it's too expensive for what it is.) Staff were not overly welcoming when we walked in, more like you have to tell them you're here to order and then they greet you. The kitchen staff were also dropping things on the ground and the cashiers were having to remind them it now has to be washed, which I did not like that they needed that reminder! My husband and I split the loaded tots, overall these were underwhelming but he liked them. We also shared the large Italian grinder. This is a great sharing size. Flavor was good and satisfied my craving. I did like that the brought our grinders out on two separate plates since we had mentioned we were sharing it! Overall, I probably won't return anytime soon as it was $80 for four people to eat, but hey pregnant lady wants what she wants. ‍

We were welcomed the minute we walked in and offered to sit wherever we wanted. The dining area is long and narrow with a handful of tables and a snack bar with stools. We sat where we had a nice view of the counter. The menus are posted at the tables. Breakfast items are a la carte and inexpensive. The coffee is locally roasted - I ordered a latte which came out fairly quickly. The coffee was strong and good. I ordered a couple eggs, bacon and a bagel. The eggs were cooked well done, like I like. The bacon was sweet and delicious. The bagel came with cream cheese and was fine. The staff is friendly and efficient. The lunch menu is interesting, as well. They carry a few gift items, including the coffee beans, and gift cards in the shop. The cafe is connected to a bookstore and salon on the sides. There was a small group of people having a loud work discussion which detracted a bit from the experience. There is plenty of free public parking and even bike parking. There are tables outside if you want to bring your pup. Restrooms were available. I will be going back to try the lunch menu. I loved it.
