The house that he lives in is very intimate and he gets great care 24 hours a day. The house is very bright and warm too. Staff is always keeping me informed on how Dad is doing and even ask how I am doing!Since I'm here all the time, I also watch how well everyone is taken care of and their needs met with individualized attention. In an industry with staffing usually changes constantly, NSL has retained their awesome team. I'm so glad that Dad has a great home away from home.

Before we transitioned to Newport Senior Living, we had inconsistent care, unreliable caregivers, and unacceptable communication and coordination. And the cost was out of control. Upon transitioning to Newport Senior Living, all these concerns were resolved. The facility is unbelievable clean, with a separate bedroom and bathroom for each resident. The "family room" is warm, organized and inviting. The staff is caring and professional. They provide individual attention to each resident. The term resident isn't actually correct, as the residents and staff became like family members. The food is excellent. They provide consistent care and have a back-up plan in case a staff member can't work. The grounds are beautiful and allow for activities, like gardening. Each week, chair exercise sessions are held. They plan special birthday parties and activities throughout the week and holidays. From a professional perspective, all-important qualities include professionalism, reliability, integrity, communication skills and being a team player. The Newport Senior Living staff provides this. From a personal perspective, when selecting a home or facility for a family member, the qualities listed above are important, but just as significant are interpersonal skills. Once my mom moved in she had the best care! The caregivers were so loving and attentive. Each day I visited they had a complete report about her night. She wasn't there very long as she was on Hospice. I truly appreciated the care. When it was time to have my dad placed in a board and care, we immediately contacted Bobby who quickly found a place for him. Unfortunately he never made it to live at the home. We had some bad experiences at other places where my father in law lived, so we know that Bobby's homes are superior. I would recommend Bobby and his amazing caregivers if you are looking for loving care for your loved one.
