I wish that I could give ten, or a hundred or a million stars to Anaheim Crown Plaza (ACP)! From the very first (long) phone call with Cammy, the Administrator, to the same day tour with Rochelle, the Assistant Administrator, we learned that Anaheim Crown Plaza was beyond EXCELLENT. The entire staff is the kindest, caring, and most compassionate people on earth. We found out that staff members were using their own money to provide little "treats" to our sister, Leslie. Every day, her caregiver would braid her hair and find ways to make her feel beautiful and special. Rochelle knows every resident and their family members' names by sight. Rochelle is always there to lend an ear, give lots of smiles and hugs to all. Leslie was transferred to ACP from a facility in Northern California. In the almost three years that Leslie was at ACP, Leslie benefited from a higher quality of life than Leslie had received in a very long time. The facility is spotless and odor-free. The rooms are spacious and the food is excellent. It is an Assisted Living Facility that provides outstanding medical case management, assisting to arrange all the medical appointments and following up that the medically ordered referrals are processed. This medical case management would be exhausting if the family members would have to do it themselves (and I am an RN). There were times when Leslie would refuse to eat or drink. We would often find Cammy sitting with Leslie and feeding her, or being the "cheerleader" for every bite or drink. (This is significant because at previous facilities Leslie had been hospitalized for severe dehydration and/or malnourishment.) Sadly, we write this review after we have said goodbye to Anaheim Crown Plaza. Leslie passed away this month. It was quite apparent to the hospital staff that Leslie was well cared for: her nails were done, her hair was clean and her skin was clear and smooth. Most importantly, Leslie knew that she was loved by her family and her entire extended family which was the staff at ACP. Do not hesitate to put a loved one at Anaheim Crown Plaza, it will be the best decision that you will make. read more

My sister Elizabeth K. lived at Anaheim Crown Plaza for 15 years and I can confidently say that the facility is great. The entire staff lead by the amazing manager Cammy J. were professional, responsive, helpful and very nice. Our family always felt good knowing that our sister was safe and well taken care of . The Anaheim Crown Plaza is a first rate assisted, living home. My father was there for years. The staff are kind, loving, and full of joy. He considered it home. My dad was well loved at ACP. The rooms are large and clean. The food is good. It is home cooked, well balanced, and there's plenty of it. If you're looking for activities, they offered many. There was an on-site doctor, someone came to cut hair and do nails, and many other services. But really what makes this place so special is the loving care they show their residents. In the end, my dad was on hospice. Their hospice team was wonderful. He was loved and taken care of so well all the way until his last breath. read more

Words cannot express the deep gratitude I have for Anaheim Crown Plaza! The amazing administrator Cammy, her outstanding staff, and the peaceful and friendly residents who live there. Late last summer my parents (in their 80's) and I were searching for an assisted living facility for my 57 year old sister. We had toured several and felt discouraged on each occasion. Since my sister was on the very young side of "senior", she was reluctant and worried about her impending move. She was interested in a larger facility with a range of daily activities, weekly outings, and a wide range of ages in her new home. From the moment we met Cammy and took a tour, we KNEW this was going to be a perfect fit. Cammy knew the name of every single resident we came into contact with that day (and I think there are close to 200). She greeted and happily chatted with each of them, and I honestly thought this was part of the first impression routine, but every single time we visited, the vibe was the same. Upbeat, happy, positive, genuinely concerned and aware of each resident (and always clean, tidy and fresh). My sister adjusted to her new home there faster than my parents and I expected. She was treated so well by all the staff and she developed some great friendships. She was out of her room all the time, playing Bingo, reading in the common areas, playing cards with her new friends, and going on weekly outings. Her ongoing health needs were looked after from day one, and I know that my sister's time there gave her more independence and dignity than what she'd been experiencing for the past several years. We sadly and suddenly lost my sister in late April. Her passing was unexpected yet not surprising given her health issues. I wish we had looked for an assisted living place so much sooner because I know how happy and at peace she was there. I wish she could have had much more time to experience the genuine love, commitment and care that Anaheim Crown Plaza delivers 24/7. The facility is blessed to have an administrator like Cammy. Her outstanding staff and the peaceful nature of her residents are a direct reflection of her skill and expertise. We are so grateful for this place. I moved into Anaheim Crown Plaza September 2020, I came straight from a skilled nursing facility. I have lupus. I was very ill and suffering from malnutrition and an array of other issues. I was there approximately nine months. I got well enough and strong enough to move out on my own. I can't emphasize the care and kindness of Anaheim Crown Plaza staff! The food is excellent, the rooms and halls were always spotless! I could walk down the hall in front of my room with white socks on all day long and they would never get dirty! That's how clean it is! It's very economical they have a base rate for to share a room or a single room. I blessed enough to be able to afford my own room. They also have additional services such as medication distribution, laundry services, and special diet. The food is EXCELLENT! In no time I gained weight and started feeling stronger. The residents laundry rooms were spotless. The laughter and positive attitudes were so contagious! During the Covid lockdown they distributed crossword puzzles, word searches, coloring books if you wanted them so would not get completely bored. Wifi was OK and free. You do have the option of cable for $25 a month. I used the free wifi to stream on my smart TV. If I ever had to go back I would without hesitation. Most important my family (especially my kids) were so relieved to have me there. It felt like home. read more

I was very happy to find Anaheim Crowne Plaza, I found a place where my mom was safe and well cared for. The facility is clean and is at an affordable price point. My mother, who struggled with dementia lived there for 2 1/2 years before recently passing and they were there to help every step of the way. From the beginning they have treated her with kindness and respect. They have found the right balance of being professional and making us feel like family. Cami and Rochelle in the front office as well as all of the caregivers have always responded quickly to any requests or concerns that I had no matter how large or small. "ACP (Anaheim Crown Plaza) Is My Home" My Mom had severe Covid at the end of last year. She was hospitalized twice. When she went in for the second time, she was given a 30% chance of survival. She beat the odds, and came out of critical care. Despite 24/7 nursing care, at the end of two months hospitalization and rehab facilities, she returned to ACP totally paralyzed. We didn't know what was going to happen at the time, because she had been pretty high functioning before her Covid. The loving care staff and managers demonstrated at ACP have exceeded our expectations many times over. Slowly but surely, she recovered. Now she can walk over half a mile with a few 1-minute breaks. She has been a resident of ACP since February 2019. Before ACP mom had stayed at 2 other assisted living facilities. In the past she had also been at 3 different rehab facilities - we know something about elder care facilities. Here are a few benchmarks below to show how ACP earned our top choice. Front desk telephone response time: less than 5 rings 97% the time during business hours; Call button response: less than 5 minutes; Laundry and shower services 95% the time as scheduled; medicine giving out on time rate 98% within 10 minutes range; Special requests from family number have always been carried out, such as setting up iPad, Bluetooth speaker; going through mails; put away groceries; taking mom to doctor appointments... Besides these numbers, a few other things are important to mention. Manager Cammy and Assistant Manager Resielle are rare pair of treasures and are mainly responsible for how this facility stands out and shines among its peers. Their laughter is heard throughout the facility all day long. Their loving and caring attitude guides all the staff at the facility. In mom's critical days, she was unwilling to go to sleep most nights. She thought most death happened at night. One night that happened again. I told the young caregiver lady about it. She said "tell your mom not to worry. It's not going to happen on my watch." There were many moving stories, but this one touched me especially. It is also a comfort to know that there is a full-time onsite nurse (LPN) - not a Home Care nurse, for all the residents in case of medical emergency. When my mom was first discharged from rehab and totally paralyzed in February, nurse Gerry was in her room to check her vitals at 7:30 every morning. Of course, there are things mom wished for that ACP couldn't provide: a big courtyard for walking; more space between structures so her room would have sunlight during the winter. But she knows to prioritize things. Mom is 91 years old and has hypertension and other heart conditions. The fact she is still alive and well today, it's simply a miracle. Besides her own strong will to live, she's also very lucky to have so many wonderful people in her life, the doctors, nurses and people at ACP. This caring and loving goes a long way to touching people's hearts and gives people strength and hope to get through challenging times. After all the hardship and all the places, she has been, "This is my home now", mom said. read more

If there was a 100 Star option, I'd choose that!! Anaheim Crown Plaza is an amazing place for an elderly family member that can no longer take care of themselves. My mom had a stroke and by chance I found this facility!! The staff feel like family because they treat your loved one like a family member. They provide the most personal and top notch care, better than I ever could have provided for my mom!! Cammy, the administrator would come in all the time and check on my mom, especially when she needed it the most. Richelle in the office is great too!! Every caregiver was so sweet and caring. My mom could be challenging at times and they never complained about it once. They knew exactly how to handle it. My mom has passed on and I'm really going to miss the staff members!! They were extremely considerate, going above and beyond, to ensure that he got to all his treatments, until he began Hospice care.
