Their staff is great (lots of smiles and a willingness to accommodate). Shout out to going above and beyond. My wife and I were checking out of our room (Salt Fork Lodge) and we were going to miss the 11 o'clock cut off to get breakfast. I called and they were willing to make our sandwiches as close to 11 as possible and then just keep them warm for us. We got there around 11:15 and the sandwiches were ready. They were still hot and we really enjoyed our breakfast. We had lunch the day before and their sandwiches are top notch. Not a huge menu but what they do offer and provide is 10 out of 10. The cafe also has a cute little gift-shop with it and it is attached to an Amish grocery store. Worked out perfect for us to pick up a few of our favorite things we can only find from the Amish as well as enjoy a meal. Don't blink or you will fly by Route 22 Cafe...it is worth slowing down for and checking out.

Okay, my meal didn't last long, but I wasn't done eating. So I ordered fried mushrooms and they didn't last long, either. I guess I was more hungry than I thought! I finally settled for dessert - Dutch Apple pie. I would not hesitate to dine here again. I was treated like I was the only customer in the place.
