Walked in to 1 lady in front of me that went in as I was pulling up. She was still waiting to…read moreplace her order when I came in. Jessica (found her name on my receipt) was busy talking with other staff about personal stuff and laughing back and forth so no one helped the lady standing in front of me nor I for 3 - 4 MINUTES while the drive thru and restaurant weren't busy which was highly annoying. Finally she walked over with an attitude because everyone was waiting on her (I can only assume) and we were interrupting her fun time. The lady in front of me, myself and 2 others got crappy treatment ordering. I ordered a double cheeseburger meal with NO pickle and of course I get to the car and have pickles. As I walked in the person that was behind me said 'did they give you pickles?'. I said they did and he said they realized it and had given my sandwich to a person at the drive thru. SOOOO that Jessica obviously knew it, looked at me and went to the back office instead of telling the cook I was back and asking him to remake my sandwich!!!! Someone doing drive thru did see me as well and called for a new sandwich already knowing why I was there. This also speaks to how empty it was as if there was alot going on they'd of not known who I was. Everyone has off days but don't bring it to work. My meal was still good but experience was foul.

"It tasted amazing, meat extremely tender and falling off the bone, seasoning was light and tasty and the carrots were so good, they were the highlight." I got my usual chicken and dumplin's with fried apples. Always good comfort food. Of course we had biscuits and corn muffins, and sweet tea. The biscuits/ muffins were served in a bread basket, a little fancier than previously done lol (assuming it's corporate vs a local thing). Of course no trip to CB would be complete without checking out the candy section as well as the various displays of holiday ( Halloween, Thanksgiving and post July Fourth stuff currently), as well as beach, autumn, lake stuff, etc). We were in from out of state, and decided to meet up with family for Denny's for our Christmas…read moredinner. First off, I called Denny's in Cambridge, from my home state of Virginia to see if they would be open for the holidays. I received an automated message that basically said, "Thank you for calling your Cambridge Denny's! Spend the holidays with us! We're open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year's". With that message, our family of 14 planned to dine at Denny's on Christmas Day. Just days before leaving town, I called to inquire about 'call ahead seating' or reservations. I listened to the automated message again, and got an employee on the phone who informed me that they didn't do reservations, and they closed on Christmas Eve at 6pm, and opened on Christmas Day at 4pm. That isn't a problem, but they really need to change their automated message. Had I not called to inquire about reservations, and spoke to an employee, we could have very well showed up much earlier, only to find the doors locked. In fact, when we arrived at 3:30pm, we sat in the car knowing we'd have a 30 minute wait, but we did see very confused crowds lining up at the door, trying the door, and knocking on the doors quite perplexed. Honestly, I hadn't expected Denny's in Cambridge to be so busy on Christmas Day, but the parking lot was full. Like I said, there were 14 of us, and although we weren't the first in line, we did manage to all sit together. Service was great, and I give high kudos to both the wait staff and the cooks (my husband and I split a breakfast platter that was made perfectly!). My stepdaughter ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and something else, but really enjoyed them! My sister in law and brother in law had nachos that looked very unappetizing, but I think overall, most were very happy with their food and service. Great job Denny's! But please update your automated message to reflect accurate hours.
