The wall is curved, has a random/sparse color pattern and a different sill. My impossible to match bricks also had to be salvaged. Roberto was quick to give me a fair estimate and work me into his busy schedule. He and his crew came on time, were super nice, worked through two days of rain and wind, salvaged my bricks! and did a great job. They also did some repointing in a few spots. He even came back to caulk later as soon as the weather was appropriate. All the work looks original. I have no concerns about the durability. The original embankment was beginning to erode the hill toward the river, causing our backyard to be unstable. I ultimately chose Creative Concrete, not because of the price quote, but because of the method to be used in fixing all the problems. Secondary, was our interaction with John, the owner. He was friendly and very professional. My husband and I could not be more happy with the work that John and his crew did on our yard. He did plenty of finger-pointing and did not take responsibility or even apologize. From the beginning our new fireplaced leaked. The FCM owner refused to correct it or even come out. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they reported that he did not respond to our request to mediate. I have since learned he used defective mortar and we are replacing the entire chimney for $14K. The signs were there from the beginning that I should have recognized, he is not a quality individual.
