do not go to this endodontist; she gives false diagnoses to take your money!! they love performing…read moreroot canals that patients don't need!!! and they do it even more to people with dental insurance!! if you don't have a periapical lesion and only have tooth sensitivity and mild pain, your tooth doesn't need a root canal; it's just reversible pulpitis. if the pain doesn't wake you up at night, it's a sign that the nerve can still be saved... so you need biodentine (the best pulp capping agent, liner, and base there is). it is a pure bioceramic--unlike theracal lc, which is mixed with resin, making it cytotoxic to the dental pulp. this endodontist told me that biodentine only worked on children and adolescents and didn't work on adults because the nerve didn't regenerate quickly... which is false. clinical studies on biodentine show a success rate of 60% to 90% in patients over 65!! and i am 32 years old; obviously, this woman was lying to me to convince me to get a root canal from her when i didn't need one. thank god i was spared from being scammed by this endodontist and unnecessarily killing the nerve in my molar with a root canal. if you don't believe this, look it up online, verify the facts, and you'll see that what i'm telling you is true. good luck, and may god protect everyone suffering from tooth pain. it's a race against time; you should try to save your tooth and stop the pain using a pure bioceramic material like biodentine. it has an effectiveness rate of 89% to 97% in patients under 65. for patients over 65, the effectiveness is 60% to 90%, which is still an excellent probability. god has saved two of my molars with this material, biodentine! find a dentist who uses this material and get checked as soon as possible, before the pain becomes severe. you can buy some time by taking 200-800mg of ibuprofen every 6-8 hours... but you must find an honest dentist who uses biodentine... not this scammer who is desperate to make a quick buck performing a root canal on you... and to top it off, she charges $350 for a consultation, yet her moral values are so mediocre.

My new dentist referred me to someone he highly recommended, but the only thing I could think of was the experience I had with Dr. Shapiro back in 2020. Dr. Shapiro is a magician. So gentle and careful. Dr. Shapiro always addresses my concerns and even when I think I don't need a root canal he actually goes through small tests to verify if in fact I'm in the right place. Lol Dr. Shapiro explains what to expect in detail and makes sure I'm breathing and comfortable. No one wants this procedure right? But if I have to get a root canal I'm coming to see Dr. Shapiro. I am a young person and woman of color and both times I have come here Dr. Shapiro was professional and knowledgeable. I read the prior review and hate that you had that experience as that is nothing what I received. Needless to say Dr. Shapiro has been great through a difficult situation.
