I have received the best, most up-to-date dental care in my life (I'm over 80 years old). Any time I needed their help, they were there. Dr. Mann's Associates knew where I hurt and had the right professional staff to make me feel better. The reception area, the clinical area and even the outside lab folk are experts in the dental field. I don't even know the first name of my bankers but, I do know the first name of everyone I've been helped here at Dr. Mann's. I used to be afraid of the dentist. I didn't like going. Doctor Mann and his staff were so understanding and so helpful.That within a year I was no longer afraid.Or concerned. I always walked out relaxed and happy. Everyone everyone who works. There is the best in what they do. Which which surprised me that someone put together a staff of that quality. That's very hard to do. He has all the great equipment that's up to date. Which makes getting anything done so much easier and less time in my mouth. After being a patient at a mega-practice for a number of years, this was a refreshing change. There was only 1 other patient waiting, I didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes. Receptionist, dental technician & dentist were all professional yet friendly. I have been having issues with my dentures for years, the dentist looked at them and checked my mouth & gums and made a few small adjustments. I was impressed with the exchange between doctor & tech, there was no question that they were both on their game. Dr.Power and the entire staff are wonderful. From the front desk staff to the assistant and hygienist make me feel comfortable and at ease. Dentist are not my favorite and have had awful past experiences. However this staff has changed my feeling 100%. I know longer have to mentally prepare for my visits. I am giving them 2 stars because their work is good but no better than others. Check and compare with others for what you pay for the services. They are very expensive because they are not in Network for many or any providers. I had some dental work done in the last two years which cost $15K+ out of my pocket. I have a Dental insurance. Recently I went for cleaning. They took three X-Rays as well. My spouse went to her Dentist who is in our provider Network. For exactly (identical) the same billing codes, my out of pocket with Dr. Mann was $257. My spouse's $44. This is because Dr. Mann can charge anything and has no set contracted $$ with insurance companies. Just makes me mad to think how much extra I paid them for a crown. Then they try to schedule cleaning appointments every 3 mths. The insurance companies pay once in 6 mths. You end up paying in full for it. read more

I went to this practice on 1/3, as a result of having lost a filling. I was charged $106 to have the dentist tell me that the filling "could not be replaced", insisting that I needed a crown. On 1/9, another local dentist replaced the filling. It looks and feels great. read more

I went to Dr Charles Ashley Mann's office after seeing all of the glowing reviews. I thought there was no way I could have a bad experience. Absolutely do not care about you or your needs whatsoever. I had two root canals scheduled today because one of them is causing excruciating pain and has a large hole in it. They called me before my appointment to tell me they needed me there an hour early to get both of them completed since they close at 7, so I arrived at 330 as asked. Fast forward to 630, they told me the one root canal was completed and that it was a pretty easy one and they are gonna start the other one. I asked which tooth they fixed. They fixed the tooth that needed much less work, and was not causing me any pain whatsoever, leaving me with the option to stop since they won't be able to get the root canal totally done today, or to let them get started and come back next week to finish the same procedure. (I will be out of town next week for two weeks and told them this before the appt.) YOU FIXED THAT TOOTH THAT DOESNT HURT AFTER I TOOK OFF WORK AND MADE IT SO VERY CLEAR THAT THIS TOOTH IS MY PRIORITY AND THE REASON I CAME TO THE DENTIST IN THE FIRST PLACE. Was not willing to give me any refund or credit and honestly that wasn't the biggest concern for me. It was the fact that I prioritized this tooth because it has been causing me a lot of pain and yet there was no effort on their end to make sure I left with that tooth taken care of and pain free like they should have. I recently competed my second visit with Dr. C. Ashley Mann in Garner. Another wonderful dental experience. Dr Daniel Amyradakis extracted three teeth virtually without me experiencing pain or discomfort. He was assuring and very confident. The extractions went smoothly and I am still amazed. I returned to the office two weeks later for a deep cleaning of my teeth and gums. Miss Paige is the dental hygienist and did a professional and complete cleaning, especially at the gum line. She too was very patient with me; explaining everything she was about to do in advance. My wife and I drive over 90 miles each way from home because we are so very satisfied with the warm and caring service we get at the Garner office. Kudos to the entire staff read more

Do not waste your time with this office, very unprofessional! I waited for 2 hours before being turned away. Brittany informed me that because I am a "random"(her words not mine) I could not be prescribed any antibiotic or medication, because of my status as a walk-in/new patient even though my family members have been to this office and referred me here. Not only are the Dentists efficient and great at explaining what you need to know, they were great with everyone in my family from my 5 year old to my 98 yr old grandmother! They contacted us after the fact to verfiy that she was okay and felt good about her appointment, and I felt like that was going above and beyond. The Hygenists were gentle and left my kids with a happy feeling about visiting the dentist. I'd like to particularly commend the office staff who were kind and friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate everyone in our family on short notice. Brittany and Dr. Emily were so fabulous (despite my husband's hardheadedness) & convinced him to get the cleaning he needed after several years of not going to the dentist. He had had a very bad experience at another dentist last year and threatened not to ever go back to one ;-) Their patience with him was amazing (and they're all so great with my kids too)!
