I've only ever had one before, so when I moved, this was a huge pain, but I finally found South Tampa Dentistry! The staff has been polite and efficient each time I called / went in, and I saw Dr. Wyatt my first few visits, who he was great. I went in for a last minute appointment once and he wasn't available, so I saw Dr. Mark, and he's been my new favorite dentist ever since! He's gone out of his way to make sure I got the best care quickly and made my concerns a priority. (Idk where these people that left bad reviews went, but they must have the wrong Dr. Mark! )

I have never ever been treated like that before in my life, just incase some of you might have questions about your teeth - they don't tolerate that at all. So wild, not educating the patience or helping them get the right care. My husband called saying hey why are you treating my wife like this and the doc said I am twisting the words and was argumentative just to argue (that's not my personality). I have never met a doctor who does not appreciate question. In all sincerity I was actually trying to understand, but they clearly didn't like that. Really wished they treated me more kind. Also, I just read the other reviews and I guess this isn't the first weird thing about x-rays! The senior hygiene lady was so mean to me too! Then she says it is company policy which is not a policy with other offices. When I called in the morning to verify charges, I was told there would be no charge and my balance is zero. After waiting an hour and a half (without an apology) Erika tells me the $108 is a mandatory charge for Gingival Treatment (4 applications). When I questioned if this was mandatory the Office Manager, Terry Gist, says I should've asked beforehand. Then miraculously she reduced it to $48. When I told her I called in before my appointment she says, that was the call center, they don't know our services. I can't make this up, I will be switching offices after 20 years, very sad what this office has become

Dr.King is wonderful! I like her staff and that matters too. I trust Dr.King and if she recommends something, and she has not recommended much as I've had a ton of work done previously, I know she sees a need. I had Joan sign me up for a dental plan in 2019. She signed me up for automatic renewal without telling me and I was charged for 2020, 2021, and again in 2023 without my knowledge. In that period I went to the office and had work done without insurance paying anything. They quit accepting that plan after 2019. Then she sells me a new plan in 2022 and I soon discover I had been paying for the first one for three years without any benefit. I complained and they cancelled my insurance without reimbursing me for anything. I knew I would never get my premiums back for the first plan but they should reimburse me for the second. They have ripped me off of 150 dollars and when I disputed the charge they refused to settle the dispute. This was Joan's mistake, she never asked or told me she was signing me up for auto renewal. This is so wrong. Besides that, after spending over 10,000 for crown replacement my mouth has never been right. My mouth bothers me constantly now and 3d xrays don't show what is under the crowns but something is not right. I would advise you all to stay away from this office, you may learn to regret it as I have.

Then this red-headed girl sitting next to her at the front desk inserted herself into the conversation: she rolled her eyes, scoffed so loud, and said "ugh that's not how that works." (I asked about upper only invisalign since I have full mandibular implants). First of all, hi nice to meet you, 2, who TF are you? 3 learn a shred of bedside manner / customer service or go hide so you dont scare customers and hurt business. She tried blaming her face full of Botox saying "this is just how I look" of why she comes off so completely off-putting to those that encounter her. Then I went in for a bonding application of a non-cavity tooth (food was getting stuck). The "dentist" couldn't identify the issue I had identified with the hygienist in the prior visit. I was flicking the little ledge back and forth with my finger and he still didn't see it. I told him that was fairly disconcerting that he doesn't see what I'm talking about (like is he literally blind?) and I should have left at that point. Then he was like "oh. that's because someone labeled it wrong! they said tooth 14 and it's 13." ok but like, are you blind and after examining it for a full minute you couldn't see the issue? 13 and 14 right next to each other... I'm pretty sure it was the right tooth # but I had a tooth pulled and he didn't realize. He did do some numbing gel and then still came at me with a numbing injection which hurt a ton, and I continued to have nerve pain there for a full month after. 1 month later (today), the bonding the "dentist" did just fell off. I don't even know who it was, I think Cannariato, but his pic on the website must be 40 yrs old in that case which is mega disingenuous. pretty sure these people are quacks.

I would go elsewhere as they are not detail oriented and seem to be money driven practice.

Made an appointment online, completed all the paperwork prior to the appointment. Dr. Gray, Yolanda and Kate, the care team for my chipped tooth, were wonderful. They were all very patient, kind and professional. Dr. Gray and Yolanda were exceptional in the care they provided to fix my tooth. From check-in to check-out, the experience was friendly and thorough. I go back in three weeks for my permanent tooth replacement, and am currently considering switching my regular dental care here visits even though it's a bit further away.
