The swimming pool has been a great addition to our weekly routine, and the kids night out events have allowed my husband and I to have regular date nights for the first time in a decade. My kids are really excited to get signed up for YMCA summer camp, too. YMCA programs have really helped my family thrive. My only wish is that the kid zone would expand their hours. It's tough for working parents to have dinner and get there before they close on weekday evenings, and even harder on the weekends because they close at lunch time on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. And once the kids have finished their weekend sports engagements, there is just no time. I would be willing to pay more for after hours kid zone access!

The owner and staff was asked to give video footage as we are going through a protective and restraining order against Amy Tuengel. 1) they didn't cancel her member they still allow her to work out there. 2) we asked and the police asked twice for the footage from that day. The owner and staff do not care for the safety of their patrons. I am appalled at how they conduct this gym and others should know to look elsewhere for a workout as there are plenty of safer gyms.

The people in the class are really friendly and supportive and at different fitness levels so you never feel like you have to compete with people who are far more advanced. I showed up for the first class, and became aware that the posted classes are not consistent, if available at all. No problem, right? I was still excited to utilize their body scanner, sauna, massage bed, and of course their outdated gym equipment. However, during my second month scan (May 2025) the trainer who assisted me and analyzed my scan was super condescending and unprofessional. Her comments were unnecessary and made me feel very awkward, so I didn't go back for months. With the fee so high I decided to slip in and use their sauna when that staff member wasn't there, but in the end not worth the hassle.

I've been going to gyms for almost 30 years so am a discerning consumer. What impressed me about this gym is it's clean, the equipment is new and in excellent shape, the prices are very reasonable, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they are geared to accommodate everyone---from gym rats to seniors (like me!) to folks who may feel intimidated by stepping into a gym. I had a training session today with Mike. He was outstanding in every sense of the word--knowledgeable, attentive, encouraging - he gives you 100% of his focus. It's a terrific environment to work out in--regardless of your age or fitness level. This is a gym I look forward to visiting and working out at. I think you will too. Plus, parking is super easy (Riverside gym is down the street, but I was put off by it, as the fees are high, parking is tight, entry.exit from the gym parking lot is tough, and the staff frankly were not warm or friendly) Fitness 1440 is giving these folks a run for their money--they are cheaper, less crowded, friendly, helpful, and have excellent machines. You can't go wrong at this gym.
