Either I don't lift weights, or I do too much too soon and I'm sore in a way that impacts my running. I've been a member for about a month, and I am really enjoying my workouts at Progressive Performance. Signing up for this gym keeps me accountable to strength training and I'm able to keep running in addition to building strength. More than that, I really appreciate how the trainers took the time to know me, my goals, where I've struggled in the past and are there to guide my workouts. I am lifting more than I ever imagined I could at 31 let alone 51. I am strong, more flexible, with better endurance than I have ever been in my life. The gym members are very diverse and the format means it is never crowded and you have your own space. The best part are the coaches. They each bring a perspective that helps you grow in your training. Also they are just really great, fun people.
