I recently transferred over to Dr. Theobald's office, and have been so happy with so many aspects of this office from working mainly with Brian at the front desk, as well as the Dr. Theobald, and his assistants. Brian has really taken extra time to help me understand my dental plan, has gone above and beyond in reaching out to insurance, and providing answers to me, all in a VERY timely fashion. He's always so pleasant on the phone, and even though we're dealing with not the best things (insurance and dentistry) it's really been a breath of fresh air to know that I'm being treated as an actual person, not a number, and have received answers that aren't "canned" but actually real answers to my real questions. I think we call that effective communication. I have recently had to have a root canal on a tooth in which my previous dentist didn't remove all of the decay, and it continued to decay underneath the filling..... I hastily left that dentist, and thought I'd give Dr. Theobald a try. He gave me sound advice and gave me the tools and knowledge that I needed to make a great decision on 1. Where to get the root canal done (Dr. Levine) 2. What the process would be like, and what to expect (no surprises) 3. What my insurance would and wouldn't cover, and how much. (no surprises) I was VERY well informed through the full process. I just completed having my crown placed, and based on another comparable tooth that had the exact same procedure 6 months ago by a, different pair of dentist / endodontist, the experience and outcome with Dr. Theobald and Dr. Levine was BY Far... I LOVE this dental office!! The staff are AWESOME!! They are very friendly, they make sure I get a thorough cleaning, and remind me of my upcoming appointments via text. The office is spotless and very comfortable, the massage chairs rock! I will never EVER go anywhere else. I have been a long time patient and have always been very pleased until they started recommending elective procedures as if they were required. I randomly left with a $900 bill that they said insurance would cover for scaling my teeth that suddenly needed this procedure I had never heard of before. Not even a cavity for the last 40years. I asked the office manager to call me, but she never did. I did get the cost reduced, but I have lost my trust in there ethics and my best interests as a patient. Well, this is a tough one because out of four trips to Dr. Theobald's office, we have yet to see the infamous Dr. Theobald. Does he really exist?! I scheduled my first appointment with his office and was told upfront that Dr. Theobald would not be present. That's fine. I had my cleaning done by a very knowledgeable and thorough hygienist (wish I could remember her name), so I was happy. I then referred my boyfriend there. He was told as he arrived for his appointment that Dr. Theobald was out of the office that day. Strike one, but again his cleaning was excellent. Then a friend I had referred there made an appointment, showed up, and (surprise, surprise), no Dr, Theobald. Strike two. The final straw was my second appointment. I was told nothing in advance, but when I arrived it was a fill-in hygienist and no Dr. Theobald in site. Strike three, you're out. While Brian and the full-time hygienist are incredible, we'll be looking for a place where we actually see the dentist. I'm a patient person, but this was too much!! read more

I have been going to Dr. Theobald for about a decade now. I actually drive about 25 minutes down south to Highlands Ranch from Denver to visit this office! I love ALL of the office staff, from the front door greeting, to teeth cleaning, Dr. Theobald, and all the way to scheduling. His office charges for uncovered services, and when overpaid by Delta Dental, refused to issue a refund for money I overpaid ! They say they won't issue a refund less than $50 but charge me for every dollar that's not covered. This is unfair. I've been going to this practice for over 10 years and this is not the way I want to be treated. I went to Homestead Dental and am much happier - friendly, fair, not money-grabbing like Dr. Theobald ! read more

Dr. Theobald and his staff have been taking care of me and my family for many years now. The office is always clean, and they use state of the art equipment. The staff is friendly, and they will definitely go the extra mile to insure your comfort and satisfaction. I had a bad gag reflex when i was younger, and it was very difficult for me to take X-Rays. I dont think I thanked Brian and the rest of the front desk staff for being so friendly and greeting me with a smile at my first visit!!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone - I even noticed how friendly the Dental Hygienist there was with her patient, I didn't have the pleasure of meeting her personally though.. I called in to make an appointment for a possible root canal therapy and was able to get one for the next day, which, to me, is a plus. Front desk is kind and informative also. They took a painless x-ray and Dr. Theobald agreed on root canal. But since they don't perform it there, I was referred to Dr. Levine, which I am also sure is a great dentist. But here are the reasons for 3 stars: -I live in Highlands Ranch and proximity was the reason I chose Dr. Theobald's office and Dr. Levine's office is in Denver, definitely not close. -My insurance is CIGNA and Dr. Levine doesnt work with CIGNA, which is ok but I would expect Dr. Theobald to know this and asked me before referring to him if t would be ok to work with a dentist who doesnt work with my insurance company. -I would also rather my dentist to have it all in one package, including complicated procedures. read more

I feel so fortunate to have found this dental office! I'm a dental hygienist licensed in another state and recently relocated, so have some experience in both good and bad dental offices. This one is top notch. Here's why: The PEOPLE!!!-they all went out of their way for my son (the patient) and me, from the initial phone call and scheduling, to the way Dr. T let me sit in his chair to show him what I was concerned about in my son's mouth (and then did a very thorough exam, including a referral to an orthodontist), to the hygienist in the next operatory who was extremely helpful in the removal of what ended up being sealant material where it should not have been, to the the assistant who personally placed sealants on all 8 molars and did the best job ever (thank you!!!), to the hygienist who cleaned his teeth and was a pleasure to talk with while I sat and watched her scale, polish, and give oral hygiene instructions on where he needed to brush more. She also took x-rays and made sure Dr. T had a chance to read them before we left (thanks Brenda!). We finished up and were checked out by Brian who did a great job navigating the insurance as we weren't sure if we'd had two cleanings that year or not. I cannot say enough about the practice and the staff-to me it says a lot about a dentist when he's had the same staff for years, they all work together to serve the needs of the patients, and the atmosphere is relaxing because people like what they're doing and who they're doing it with. Very friendly staff. I'm thankful they're not the type of dental office that tries to sell unnecessary products or procedures!

I highly recommend this dentist. He is completely trust worthy. He just cleans your teeth and doesn't try to pressure you into unnecessary treatments. I have come in several times thinking something really bad was going on with my teeth and explained it was nothing big and helped me out without exposing me to unnecessary treatments. I had a lot of pain in my teeth thinking I had a cavity and he said I was grinding my teeth. I got a night guard and I am so much better now! I am so glad I found such a great dentist that I completely trust. I'm uncomfortable taking x rays for fear of radiation expose and he never pressures me to do this. Highly highly recommend this office. I have been to some really bad dentist that are like used car salesmen that exaggerate the condition of your teeth wanting to fill or drill your teeth when it's just not necessary. So trust me there are bad dentist out there. This is one of the best! Thank god I have someone I can trust and I can recommend friends to, because I know they won't be take advantage of and will get the care they need. read more

I am new to town and was looking for a dentist to fix a crown that i had done years ago. While searching for a dentist I came across Dr. Theobald. I made an appointment to have my teeth cleaned and have a consultation. I wanted to make sure i felt comfortable with him doing work on my teeth. The staff is very friendly and it is a very clean enviroment. The teeth cleaning went great and recommend you have them turn on the message chair. I met with Dr. Theobald and he went over everything that he could do to restore my crown. Dr. Theobald was very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure I understood everything and was comfortable. If you are looking for a dentist or trying to find a new dentist, I highly recommend you check out his office. The nurses were nice and so was the Dr...at first. I went in to have a cavity filled but during the procedure, they said it might have to be a root canal. WHAT?? They said to come back in a few days to start that procedure. When my appoinmet came around, my pain was gone. So I called them and I was told "If the pain doesn't come back soon, then you are in the clear." So I canceled my appoitment with the root canal dr. We joked about how I prayed and prayed that the pain would go away and God healed it! 2 months later I had to go in for an emergency root canal. I called them and Brian (i think that is the front guy's name) laughed at me. He completely mocked my faith and told me "I thought your God fixed it". I was shocked at his attitude. He then told me that I owed $100 for something my insurance didn't cover and if it wasn't paid by the end of the week, he would turn it over to collections. Needless to say, I NEVER went back and I was surprised at how he switched from being so nice to being so vindictive. I found a different dr to finish the root canal and have been VERY happy with Dr. Ambida ever since. They are an amazing family dentist clinic and even encourage me to bring my daughter with me so she will be comfortable in the future! read more

Dr. Theobald's office is great! Everyone is so friendly, the office has...a kind of "small town" vibe if that makes sense - like you've known everyone there for years. I get my teeth cleaned by Janet who is fantastic. I seriously look like I had my teeth whitened after she does a cleaning. There are no pushy sales tactics, and I fully trust their advice. Before Dr. Theobald I went to another dentist who told me I had a new cavity every visit (never had a problem with cavities before going there).
