As a 29 year old female with ingrown toenails (that I have put off doing anything about for years)…read moreI was very apprehensive about going to a podiatrist. One of my biggest concerns was wearing sandals in the future as I was fearful that my nails would end up botched post procedure. Therefore, I wanted to go to a female doctor who I hoped would better understand the value of aesthetics; which is why I initially selected Dr. Kirkland. Not only did Dr. Kirkland understand and value, aesthetics, but she and her staff surpassed all I could have hoped for with this experience. Dr. Kirkland and her staff (Mrs. Shelby and Dolly) were extremely empathetic, kind, nurturing, professional, gracious, patient, charismatic, and enjoyable to be around. Despite my nerves, they put me at ease by reassuring me, telling me stories, making me laugh, and talking me through every step that they were taking. The office played calming music and everything was very clean and well-laid out. The procedure was seamless and pleasant (outside of a quick spike of pain for the injection). Post procedure, I am very happy with the shape and amount of my remaining nail and I think the cuts were perfectly executed. I 100% recommend Dr. Kirkland and her staff for any podiatry needs you may have.

I was talking to the athletic trainer at my school about it and he said "Might as well have the best in the country operating on you" when he asked if I'd like to have my surgery done at Andrews. Me and my parents did research on Dr. Waldrop. I was nervous to have surgery done until meeting Dr. Waldrop. The first visit with him was November 19, 2021 and he confirmed that surgery would be necessary to fix my ankle. He answered all the questions that my mom had about surgery and made sure to tell us what he would be doing procedure wise. We got the surgery scheduled for 10 days after that. So on November 29, I had my surgery and after having surgery and going through physical therapy, I haven't had anymore injuries to my right ankle(Thank you Dr. Waldrop!!). Now, I've seen him probably 5 or 6 times since surgery. I just saw him last month August 2022, for a follow up appointment, but unfortunately had to let him know that I was still having some problems with my ankle. Dr. Waldrop had me moved to a room where he could do an x-ray to check the stability of my ankle from where he fixed it and he told me that my ankle stability was good. After talking to him more about what was going on, he talked to me and my parents about letting him put a shot in my ankle. I'm not a big fan of shots and normally refuse to get a shot, but I trust Dr. Waldrop, so when he said the shot was probably the best thing for me, I decided to let him give me the shot. The shot hasn't helped as much as I had hoped it would, so when I go back to see him, I'm hoping that we can find out for sure what is wrong with my ankle. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Waldrop and his team if you have to get ankle surgery. He really does care about his patients and how they feel about their injuries. I personally would not want to see anyone else to have my ankle treated. I'm very glad that Dr. Waldrop was the one to do my surgery because having the surgery has improved my quality of life greatly. If you want a surgeon that takes the time to talk to patients, explain your injury, and take the time to explain what can be done to treat it, Dr. Waldrop is the best person to go see!

Doctors are excellent, but the support staff and billing process have been extremely frustrating…read more I received a "First and Final Notice" for a bill more than two years after my visit. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach the billing department. When I called the office for assistance, they were unable to help and simply transferred me back to billing, where no one answers the phone. To make matters worse, the note on the bill threatened collections "Collections have begun". I attempted to pay the balance online, but the Phreesia payment system froze and would not complete the transaction. At this point, I have tried every available option: The billing department does not answer calls. The office staff cannot answer billing questions. Calls are routed back to billing with no resolution. The online payment system is not functioning. The physicians may provide good care, but the administrative and billing experience has been unacceptable. If patients cannot get answers to billing questions or make payments through the available channels, there are serious organizational issues that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, this experience has earned a well-deserved one-star review.

My husband arrived to the office for his follow-up appointment and was told that Dr.Craig is refusing to treat him. They could have called him to let him know in advance before driving to the office.
