I was very disappointed in the service. I asked for roots coverage and a trim. It was $300!!!!! I never paid that much in Manhattan! The stylist was super nice, but I asked her not to use the razor. She did anyway. My hair is chestnut brown. Instead of covering the roots, she dyed my hair BLACK. I asked her not to thin out my bangs and explained exactly how I wanted them. I ended up having to go home and fix them myself because they were so crooked. I sent a complaint via e-mail, but the manager just made excuses and basically told me I was wrong. I just moved here and am looking for a great lash bar. I've received lash lifts with immediate great results. The product used was apparently not effective as I barely had a lift. Overall it was barely ok and I got it on sale which makes me feel somewhat ok about this purchase. Follow up: The lash work is guaranteed and they were able to redo my lashes which came out great! If you are looking for a brow artist, keep looking! This place is the worst! Not once but twice I was left with half a brow! I don't see very well without my glasses, and with them on they kind of cover my brows and my brows are very blonde towards the tail. I do only wear my glasses to read and to see close so it's not something that could hide this problem in a social setting. The first time it happened couldn't really see it and I didn't pay much attention to it. Several months went by before I went back and I forgot about this incident. The second time we tinted the brows and it was visibly noticeable. When I walked in the door, my daughter said "what happened to your eyebrow?!" I was shocked to look in the mirror and see I was left with half an eyebrow! I contacted the salon and they refunded the wax cost only and not the tint. In my experience as a business owner you do everything you can to make a customer happy. I should have been refunded the entire amount. The least they could do after their employee left me with half an eyebrow with Thanksgiving this week, and I have to go to a wedding the next week. Run from this place! I must first say that I have never had an appointment here. Six weeks ago I made a mistake and went to WAXED instead of CLABB. I called at 9:01 to apologize and explain and was told that if I could get there by 9:15 I could still have my appointment. Traffic was heavy in Mt P and I arrived at 9:17. I was turned away because there was not enough time to process my lash lift in the remaining time allotted. I requested to reschedule in six weeks because I had an event that weekend and wanted the service before it. I was told that in order not to be charged that day I'd have to schedule within the week. Lash lifts last about a month so I would not need another one in a week because I was going to have to book elsewhere that day to be ready for the event. They charged me full price for my service that day and scheduled me for July 7th. I called last week to confirm my own appointment just to double check because of last time and marked down the confirmation I was given: my date and time was 7/7 at 10am. No additional courtesy call or text was given and at 9:10 today I got a message that I was late for my 9am appointment. I said I had 10 am down and was told that since 9 was my time and it now could not be filled and also because of what happened last time I would have to pay full price for today's service. Thats fine, bu it might be better to work with clients than to lose them. Everyone makes mistakes, me in the first case and them in the second. Alex was very friendly and professional but forgot about the part where you try to retain clients. There are lots of places to go for this service so leaving a client feeling upset, charged for nothing and with no reasonable offer for recourse is never good practice. read more

Had lash extensions put on on a Thursday for a date out of town on Saturday. By Saturday, so many had fallen off I had to use mascara and still had "holes". I contacted the salon from Atlanta that morning and they agreed to get me in as soon as I returned. They also agreed when I saw them that there was an issue. However, when I had them redone, they counted it as my first "free" relash. Despite my pointing out that a relash shouldn't have to happen for two weeks, they would not reconsider. Was charged for a service I didn't receive because of an accidental phone number add (I made my appointment via online and must have typed my numbers incorrectly) anyway, I never got the appointment notice and missed the appointment (during the time I was going through a multi-state move during the Holidays) I was charged full price for the service I was supposed to receive. Hillary is absolutely amazing! I was able to get on her schedule for a teeth whitening service that I won through a contest on her Instagram page and I couldn't be happier! I added on an extra half hour to the free half hour I won giving me an hour long appointment during which Hillary whitened my teeth 10 shades! She is so professional and informative and the bed you lay on is quite comfortable, I practically fell asleep. She also has a TV with Netflix so you can be entertained while you're waiting.
