So happy I found Stox and Co! I'm new to Charleston and was on the lookout for a new spa for facials and a new hair stylist/colorist after going to the same gal in Chicago for 20 years. Had an amazing facial by Allison (can't wait to return for my next one!). Not only did Allison give me an amazing facial but she took time to help me find the products that are best for my skin. Eminence products have always been my fave. I returned last week for highlights and Holly did an AMAZING job! Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Marisa provided a prenatal massage and had the perfect balance of a smooth, calming rhythm with perfect pressure. She was very knowledgeable and I will definitely see her again. Kendall did my hair and after two years of searching for a stylist who was a good fit for me, I can finally say that I'm able to stop searching. Not only was she able to listen and interpret my cut requests but she was so meticulous, confident, and very skilled at what she does. Recently I became fed up with a local cutely named kids hair cut studio that I felt like "listened" to what you said you wanted then just gave your child a really generic haircut. I turned to a friend whose kids always have cute hair, "where do you take them?" I begged to know! The answer, Trish at Stox and Co. We just had the BEST experience there! Trish was amazing with my kids, she listened to what we wanted then she actually gave us the hair cuts we asked for! All for the same price we would have paid at the cutesy hair place. Stox & Co. was hands down one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding! I've been going to Gen quite awhile for my color & cut and thought I couldn't love her or her work any more than I do. Having she and Jenny (make-up artist) come onsite for our wedding in downtown Charleston was one of the true highlights of the day. From the get go, Gen couldn't have been more responsive to any email I sent with update / changes to the bridal contract, and I had her direct contact info in case I needed anything at all. Gen completely nailed my extensions and truly took it to the next level on the big day, deciphering my ambiguous idea of how I wanted to look and flooring me with how everything turned out! Showing up right on time, they went right to work, setting up the space and keeping us completely on schedule (which was sent beforehand for approval- amazing!)- which is easier said than done with a bridal party! It felt like they were truly part of the family as they worked complete magic with our hair and makeup, while joining in with telling stories and laughing along with all the girls. They made sure everyone felt absolutely beautiful and made any tweaks requested until everyone felt they looked their absolute best! My bridesmaids were over the moon with how their hair & make-up turned out, getting tons of compliments throughout the night and I have never felt more beautiful in my life. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Stox & Co at The Boulevard for one of the biggest days of my life. I HIGHLY recommend their bridal services if you have an upcoming wedding and if you don't, they're an AMAZING salon where I am always thrilled with Gen's phenomenal work whether it be a cut, color, or extensions! Facial review: I absolutely loved my facial. It was clear that the lady doing my facial (can't remember her name) was very knowledgeable. She took all of my information into account about my skin, what I use on a daily basis, and what I find most concerning about my skin. My boyfriend and I visited Stox & Co. last weekend for a couples massage and it was fabulous! We were greeted immediately by Jennifer who showed us to the waiting area. She offered us beverages and once we filled out preferences we were shown to spa waiting area. Our massage therapists were awesome (I think my masseuse was Rhonda?). We get massages monthly and this was one of the best I've had! We will definitely be visiting next time we are in Charleston! read more

I just had my hair cut by Susan at Stox $ Co. She did an absolutely fabulous job and it was exactly what I wanted. I have short hair that is wavy and gray. I showed her a couple of hairdos that I copied from Pinterest and we discussed what I wanted. She listened to me and I listened to her expert advice. Alecia washed my hair and styled it after Susan had cut it. She also did an outstanding job. I look forward to seeing both of them next month. By the way, the salon is very tastefully done. Great salon spa. Beautiful interiors. Very friendly staff. Have had my hair done & a massage. The massage wasn't completely relaxing because for about 15 minutes there was loud talking in an (office? ) adjacent to the room. But the staff handled the situation, immediately offered a substantial discount & said they'd take steps to make sure it doesn't happen in the future. Good business! I'll be back. I recently moved close to the salon and decided to give it a try. Wow! It is awesome!!! Great service and very friendly staff. The salon is so relaxing. I had both my haircut and colored by Alicia (not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly) and she was so good. I love the salon products they sell and they also have beautiful jewelry for sale as well. I've already scheduled my next haircut appointment and can't wait to try a massage and/or facial in the future. read more

This place is amazing! We came for a Bachelorette Spa Day and we were basically the neediest group - we had some scheduling changes and additional service requests, PLUS they had technicians out sick - but Becca made everything happen with a smile on her face and a professional attitude! She is the perfect receptionist to be at the forefront of this business. We all felt so pampered and accommodated. We got to lounge in the spa area in robes while the other girls got their massages and pedicures, they had hot tea as well as water for us, and we brought our own mimosas. I had a 60-minute massage from Kevin and it was the best massage I've ever gotten. He is clearly very knowledgeable and talented at what he does. Stox & Co also has a great shop in the lobby full of hair and face products and jewelry! Overall - a great experience - we could not have been more pleased. If I ever come back to Charleston this will be on my list to revisit! read more
