The previous owners left complicated instructions and a receipt from Leslie's pool with their name and address. I called to get someone to help me - mostly to test the water, and explain what they did for previous owner. The young man who answered the phone was belligerent. First tried to tell me it wasn't that (location) Leslie's that serviced the pool. I repeated the address on receipt. Then he told me they didn't test water and I told him I had the receipt explaining what they did. He, said he would have to see it and then dropped the phone and yelled "customer in the store. Customer in the store," and laughed and hung up on me. I don't know who this kid is answering the phones for Leslie's pool but what a jerk! And if the company thinks that this fool is a good representative of their company- I don't want anything to do with Leslie's pools.

The workmanship and team spirit made for a beautiful pool and deck (apron). YRP also recommended a landscape company that they work closely with so we went with that company per YRP. The synergy between YRP And the landscapers made for a most aesthetically pleasing pool and recreation area. Upon completion of the pool we had few if any problems that needed to be addressed with one exception. That problem was rectified and our pool was ready for action within 24 hours of raising the problem. The weekly cleaning commitment of the pool cleaners has been solid for the past six years. Each pool cleaning is documented with a written status which is a great feature! I visited Brownswood Nursery for the first time and purchased several varieties of border shrubs in…read morethe spring and planted them in my well-amended garden bed. Despite proper sun and watering, withing several weeks one shrub started to turn brown. I brought it to the nursery when 3/4 of the bush was dead. I requested a replacement and was advised that I had over-watered the plant and it had develeped a fungus. I was further advised that they would offer a ONE-TIME REPLACEMENT, AT 50% OF THE COST! This did not sit well with me but I needed another bush, so I reluctantly paid the additional cost and purchased fungal spray to have on hand. Within the next couple of weeks, another shrub as well as the replacement shrub started to turn brown. I administered the fungicide accordingly, but the plants did not respond and died. Upon calling the nursery and advising them of the situation, I was told this time that the shrubs had been UNDER-WATERED and that they only offered a ONE-TIME REPLACEMENT. I have purchased many plants and shrubs over the years from other nurseries as well as at Home Depot, Lowes, and Costco, and have never experienced this deplorable level of customer service. If there is a problem, this nursery expects one to call with any issues so that they can give you the run around and BLAME YOU for the plants failure! I learned that Brownswood Nursery does not stand behind the quality of their merchandise. NEVER AGAIN!!
