A lovely park with beautiful, endless climbing equipment for the kids in the center. If you're just wanting to go for a nice walk or jog, it's also nice. The flowers and little stream are lovely and the signs along the trail are a great prompt for those with toddler-aged kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or kids being cared for. I've never seen those at any other park. I also appreciated the area for Veterans & I might've seen BigFoot! What a fun, engaging park everywhere you look! A fun, exciting park for little ones, as well as grown ups.

Charlie Daniels park is the best!

One of the best parks around Nashville. Playground for 2-5 year old children and another playground for bigger kids. Has a splash pad during the summer. Basketball court, tennis court, volleyball, skate park, and indoor recreation center. Walking trails with posted signs with activity ideas for children while walking. Covered areas with picnic tables & grills can be reserved for parties. This place has it all!

Great place to take in some recreational activities. The construction of new features is improving the experience

My 2.5 year old loves this park. I liked it better before the renovation though. There doesn't seem to be as much equipment now.

Unless you live in one of the apartment complexes in Nashboro Village, you've got to pony up some…read moredough to use this club. There are pretty nice tennis courts on both the outside and inside of the "club", and there's a tiny gym upstairs with a few of everything. You can also get free karate lessons and such if you happen to live in the complex. Honestly, I wouldn't pay for this place were I not in residence. Amongst the treadmills that sometimes work, the other equipment that is older than dirt, and the single television that's usually stuck on Barney or some other PBS children's show, it's just not worth the money. I know there are other gyms in the area, so unless your game is tennis, I'd say shop around.

This club made me feel like a guest and after visiting a second time I felt like home. It was difficult to find a hitting partner but I hired a coach Richard Virr that helped me with that. But first the lesson; it was awesome. I can honestly say that Richard improved my game by 40%, just by concentrating on technique. If I had kids or any other friends wanting to learn the sport I can only recommend Richard. This club also has a great community of tennis players that comes out to hit and they welcome newcomers!!! This includes at least one wheel chair player, kids of all ages and backgrounds, and adults - all one happy family (and growing). A sincere thanks and a solid recommendation.

Salads are a miss, tenders are a hit. The pool is amazing! The high dive is fun, but the best part is that every 50 minutes, for 10 minutes, all the children have to leave! Thank goodness we are Richland Country Club members who only have to be here for one month. They are also extremely inconsistent on their absurd rules. My 4 year old is just now getting comfortable jumping off the diving board but likes someone to be floating close by in the deep end to help her swim back to the side after jumping - well the blew on the whistle so aggressively AFTER she jumped in although I had been waiting for her to jump for about 3 minutes that she cried. What else did they think I was doing talking to her with words of encouragement down below ?! They have a beach entry toddler pool that I've never once seen anyone else in where I like to put a pool chair as my child plays. I've done this for about 5 days now and someone just came up to me and said they don't allow furniture in the pool... umm does a crummy plastic pool chair count as "furniture" ? Also, a few days ago it started thundering so they "shut the pool down" for 30 minutes. Well I left our pool bag out on a table not thinking it was completely necessary to pack all the way up and just used it as a break for a snack. Well after the first 30 minutes were up and there was still some distant thunder I decided we should just pack up and go home. So I walked back to the pool to grab our stuff and was again aggressively whistled at. It was embarrassing and angered me. For those of us that are new maybe you should explain that you need to pack up everything you had out by the pool when the guards here some mysterious thinner even though the sky is blue Only giving 2 stars because they have decent food for a less than decent PRIVATE swimming pool
