We attended a company event at Texas Live! on February 18, 2026, and overall we had a great time…read more The venue itself is impressive, and the food and drinks were very good. Our company provided each guest with three drink tickets, and many attendees -- including ourselves -- happily purchased additional drinks beyond that. Unfortunately, our experience with most of the bartenders was disappointing. We visited two different bar stations, and several bartenders came across as rude or uninterested, almost as if serving guests was an inconvenience. This stood out especially since the event was a large private rental, and guests were continuing to spend money throughout the evening. That said, one bartender truly made a positive impression -- Analilia. She was friendly, welcoming, and had an amazing attitude that completely changed the experience at her bar. She provided the level of service you would expect at a venue of this caliber. Despite the inconsistent service, we still enjoyed the event overall thanks to the atmosphere, food, and entertainment. I hope management recognizes team members like Analilia and works to ensure a more consistently positive guest experience across all bar stations in the future.

Boooo, Texas Live! What an incredibly disappointing…read moreexperience you have given many locals AND visitors! We drove out, paid for parking, and walked up expecting to grab dinner and watch the Mexico World Cup match, only to be told at the door that they had "just started charging admission for the Mexico games." Mind you, we came to Texas Live to see Mexico vs S Korea, USA vs AUS, USA vs HERZ, and were not charged. Seriously? If you're going to change your policy and charge people just to enter your venue to eat and watch a game, the least you can do is make that crystal clear before people spend money on parking. It was not on their website so this is UNACCEPTABLE! AND why just the Mexico games? I'd say that was predatory at the least. If it was solely about safety, let who arrives be served, but you took advantage and cost us $ AND inconvenience. DO BETTER!

This is a hidden gem and I am so glad to have found my way here due to a suggestion from a bestie…read more The atmosphere is fun but relaxed with multiple screens, and the food and drinks and R&B are ON POINT. We had lemon pepper wings, hot wings and loaded fries but the catfish ( NOT Swai) looked incredible. Will definitely be back! They open at 12 so come and get your lunch on. If you feel more drinky, Happy Hour is Wed-Fri feat. $5 small plates, $5 Crown and Down, and drink specials. Thursday night is ladies' night with a DJ and free shots for the girlies! Let me just drop you the addy, it's 4508 Matlock Rd, 76018! Pull up. Oh, also, ask for our bartender Nika! She's amazing!

Let's just get into it…read more Our server took our order and when I asked for the catfish she asked if I wanted hush puppies or toast. But she did not disclose there will be a up charge... so not sure why she asked me options that weren't included in the combo I ordered. So I had that retinal charge on the check. They have auto gratuity on all checks. Food was good for fried food. My husband enjoyed his daiquiri but it was really sweet. The atmosphere was not what I expected pretty loud for such a small spot, but my husband enjoyed the music. So I would put this almost as a lounge category rather than a traditional sports bar. Overall I don't think the amount of food was appropriate for the price. Especially the fact that those mozzarella sticks were $10 and only included 4 thats $2.50 a piece. It just wasn't my vibe, but it wasn't bad overall

After spending a Friday night here, I can see why. Drinks are cheap, there's pool and darts here, plenty of seating, comfort bar eats, friendly bartenders, and an atmosphere that screams Texas and college town. I was surprised that it wasn't as packed as I expected a college town bar to be on a Friday night. Since it was mid April, maybe there was an event or something else occurring? Anyways, no food was ordered here, just a steady stream of vodka sodas which my friend and I guzzled down. I've been told that the irish nachos are a must order as that's what this place is famous for. I'll definitely need to try those when we venture back out to this spot. Definitely a favorite amongst Arlingtonians. Despite all the cowboys memorabilia, it left a good impression on me.

My go to place for Irish Nachos, since 1989. Come to think…read moreabout it, I think this is the only place in DFW that has Irish nachos. I had a half an order today for an early dinner, and got it with the works. Bacon bits, jalapeños, small chunks of tomato, and onions... The meal tasted as it did decades ago, only difference is I think they might've changed the cheese they use. But still great nonetheless. You have your choice of different beers, and wines to wash it down with, I chose good old-fashioned Dr Pepper. If you're ever in the Arlington area drop by, it's not every day you get to eat Irish nachos.
