Definitely not going back ! The picture provided is the story of why I will not be returning. I myself am a tipper because I believe in working hard! You go to work to make money not to drink and play to remember who paid and who hasn't !

Very cool bar. A lot of pool tables, golden tee, basketball pop-a-shot, and the food looked really good.

After spending a Friday night here, I can see why. Drinks are cheap, there's pool and darts here, plenty of seating, comfort bar eats, friendly bartenders, and an atmosphere that screams Texas and college town. I was surprised that it wasn't as packed as I expected a college town bar to be on a Friday night. Since it was mid April, maybe there was an event or something else occurring? Anyways, no food was ordered here, just a steady stream of vodka sodas which my friend and I guzzled down. I've been told that the irish nachos are a must order as that's what this place is famous for. I'll definitely need to try those when we venture back out to this spot. Definitely a favorite amongst Arlingtonians. Despite all the cowboys memorabilia, it left a good impression on me.

I came in with my friends during the storm and the pub was still pretty busy. Turns out there is trivia on Thursdays. We stayed for trivia, lost horribly but had a great time. Michelle was the server on deck this evening and she was fast and got our orders correct! We ordered Mac and cheese, the sheppies(3 pieces), and the seafood basket. The Mac and cheese was a very large meal. It had white cheese and looked really tasty. The sheppies were tasty, mash potatoes, cheese, gravy, and meat. As for the seafood basket, the fish and shrimp sizes were nice, I felt the fish was a little fishy, the fries were meh, the shrimp were tasty. The tartar sauce was unique as it had dill in it.

In addition to the food, they offer gluten-free beers and cider. Service was excellent and our server was knowledgeable about food preparation (in terms of allergies). The food is good but I find it extremely rich. The onion rings are fried in a thick batter. The gluten-free gravy tastes amazingly like "regular" gravy. It's really nice to have multiple gluten-free dessert options, even if we rarely have room for dessert. I recommend that you make reservations for holidays when they have specials or if you think it would be busy (ex: St. Patrick's Day). After this visit, I did get extremely sick for about 24 hours after eating here. It might have been the richness of the food not agreeing with me or it might have been something else.
