hi. Here it is. This is a place. I will let you know if this is the place for you. I wrote my original post while I was a little lit and I as read it again I made corrections. It wasn't a bad time but it was a very chill environment. I don't think that is bad. It was crowded so obviously people in the area enjoy it and I told a coworker it might be a place for them but it was a general place that had a local feel. If like a little excitement or engagement like that it might not be that for you. I am pretty neutral most places and try to do a when in Rome sort of thing but did try to get everyone up and dancing which maybe wasn't the place for that at that time. Arlington is a small town feel with some cool spots, if you go alone you'll probably feel welcome. read more

Met up with a girlfriend here for drinks and karaoke. The food was better than I expected, staff was nice , DJ kept the energy up and made sure the singers & crowd were having fun. Overall, we had a great time, I'll definitely join my friend again next time she invites me out! read more

I love this place. Yes it has big dive bar vibes but in the best way. The bartender Natalie is awesome, seems like she knows everyone. So many regulars are always there. We've done 11am and night time and same vibe each time. They have darts, pool, karaoke and shuffleboard. It's bar food but it's good bar food! And it's cheap. read more

Small space with good food and selection of beer. Not like the real Macs and much cleaner bathrooms.

This is my karaoke home since moving to the area. I visited several local shows post-pandemic and this is my favorite by far! It's a great place to spend my weekly social energy. Code the KJ keeps the party going and makes me feel like a rockstar when I'm on stage. Bartenders kick ass and take names(Felicia, Jerry, Krystal, Natalie, Shane are who I see most often). The regulars are fun and inviting, pretty sure I make new friends every time I'm there. The food hits the spot, drink prices are reasonable(yes, even in this economy), good vibes are high and drama is low. It doesn't matter if you're there since 8pm he only puts people up that he lives whether the suck or not! Leaving real singers to be pissed on. Terrible unprofessional dj. Ok, so lemme say that this is a true gem. Drink prices are amazing and food is really good. Dawn, the bartender, is witty and a little snarky...which I love. She made our first experience here really fun. Came into town for Rangers/Astros games and we have all agreed to call this place home base. Miller Lite for 2.50? Yes please. And it's ice cold. Shots are cheaper than anywhere closer to the ballpark. Since previous reviews, there is no more indoor smoking so the place is not gonna leave you smelling like your grandpa. But they do have a designated smoking area outside. Pool tables, steel and plastic tip darts, Golden Tee, shuffleboard, and karaoke are here as well. All in all, great experience and will likely come here before every game. read more

Ok so if you look at the location you might think that this place is a little sketchy and that's exactly what I thought. Walking up I'm thinking I would be worried about people around me but I was actually surprised. The bar is obviously ok with smoking inside so you do have a big cloud of smoke around you. I went on a Friday very early around 8-9 pm and we were thinking it would be kind of lame but it started to get packed and I had so much fun. They have darts, shuffle board, pool, and they ever have karaoke as well. Idk I really enjoyed myself and I would definitely be coming back some day. Plus the drinks weren't bad either. read more

Bartender James is amazing!! He took care of us! Three girls from out of town who wanted to find a nice place to hang and eat something... He made it comfortable for us and was such a gentleman. My friends and I went to Texas for the state fair and we looked this spot up on yelp. They have late hours so we went around 12:00am. The spot was pretty empty but they had pool Tables and karaoke. Man they have the best wings to die for !!! I've never had a Buffalo sauce that taste so good! The vibes and everything are there!!!

They get a 5 because of the hole in the wall feel, definitely a neighborhood bar. They have decent dart boards, (2 of the 4 boards were in great shape). The shuffle board was also awesome. They also have 2 pool tables. Didn't go on a karaoke day, or eat any food. However if your swinging through town it's a good place for cheap drinks and bar games. Been coming to Macs for over 13+ years and love this place. Natalie, James, Dawn, and Jerry always make the best drinks, no doubt. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Tony is beast in the kitchen, but tonight...tonight, we had a special treat!!!! Tom was in the kitchen!! Tom worked here back when I started coming in and he was an awesome bartender and his food was phenomenal! No change in his skills, my burger was flavorful and juicy and the fries were on point!!! If I could give a Zero, I would! I have had two experiences at this place. The first time, it was great! There were some girls that were overly loud, but it's a bar, what do you expect!?!? My second experience, not so great. I had a group of friends and we were all out having a good time, we were cheering on our friends while we they were singing and just having fun! Then, James, the bartender decided to spray my friends and I with water. Not only once, but twice! My friend confronted him, nicely, TWICE! She asked him to please stop spraying us and he said, "Then, can you please stop yelling, 'Woooo'!" Then, he totally blew her off. Our boyfriends went up to pay the tab and asked why he sprayed us with water and he said that he was "flirting" all while two girls at the end of the bar were laughing hilariously! We were having a good time and because, his words, "We were too loud" AT A BAR... We were disliked. Very sad. I will never be back there. read more

This place double charged my card, I understand these things happen at restaurants and bars; however they did not care about the mistake! I called multiple times to get the issue resolved, but 2 bartenders and 1 manager (& 2 weeks later) all told me they will inform the owner so he can resolve the situation. I never received a call back and had to contact my bank to help... I find that ridiculous! Terrible place with unprofessional owner. read more

I played Bruno Mars on the juke box after about 45 minutes at the bar on Christmas Eve, I did not touch the volume, the bar tender came up to me turned down juke box and said "This is not a club, this is a bar, and people want to talk," Again I had nothing to do with the volume, the song was "that's what I like" I had to leave, I felt offended, how do you compare a song I played on the juke box as a club song, and only turned down the music I paid for and played? I wasn't even dancing just changed the music. I will never go here again obviously they judged me as clubber and I can't play certain songs on the juke box! read more

We are in Arlington to watch a cowboys vs eagles game and I am so glad that we stumbled on Macs tavern and grill because it's one of the best spot I have ever been beencustomer service is superb. I've been going to this bar for two years now and it's awesome!!! It is a hole in the wall bar and it's a little smokey. Natalie is absolutely the best server/bartender you can have. James is also amazing and once he gets to know you will tell you funny stories. Mostly regulars on Sunday through Thursday, although some Thursdays can get busy. Fridays and Saturdays can get pretty packed. The food is is fantastic with extremely reasonable prices, the Cheesesteak Burrito is my personal favorite. The drinks of course are famously ( or infamously) cheap so it's the PERFECT place for a group of friends to go out. I'm in my late twenties and would say I'm one of the youngest people in the bar but I wouldn't have it any other way. There is tons of things to do, Karaoke nights start at 8:00PM Tuesday through Sunday, Jamie is DJ. There are a few darts boards to play darts, two pool tables,shuffle board and a few arcades as well. Darts and shuffle board is free. There is plenty of TV's around the bar where they play different sports at a time. If you're looking for a place with a fun atmosphere Mac's is your bar!!! read more

So I found this place by chance .. I was at a bar next door that was a run down crap place and got on yelp because I was hungry (new years eve) this place was right next door. So the place I was at had no food a feiend and I decided to come over here and get some food to go to bring nack with us .. the people in there seemed very friendly and the two bartenders were very nice and helpful suggesting good stuff gave us party favors and even took photos for us .. I wanted something filling and they said the philly was really good so I ordered that to go . When we got back to the crap bar we were spending the evening I opened my box to find a big burrito I was so sad I was really ready for that philly .. I was hungry so I was just going to eat it after a bite I realized it was a philly sheeste steak burrito and the best one I have ever ever had .. I guess I didnt see tje option to have it as a burrito or on bread .. so amazing would def go back just for that . Thank you read more
