I dont normally write review but i had to for this shop as the customer experience was beyond my expectation. I got my 2018 Ducati Monster 1200 serviced here and installed a fender eliminator kit. Great price, friendly, and knows what they are doing. I will 100% be coming back for all my service and custom

I can't speak highly enough about Charlie and his "Chop Shop" and here's why: First, let's talk about their hours. This is actually a shop that I don't need to leave work early to drop my bike off. They are open until 7pm on the weekdays, which is a huge plus. Next, the shop is always clean and organized. I cannot stress enough how important this is. It shows that the owner and those who work in the shop take great pride in its appearance. Now let's talk about the work, because at the end of the day, that's what matters most. Twice I've ended up at the shop with not major, but just about major issues; blown headlight and a jammed throttle. For the headlight, the job was clean and well done. I was quoted a price and paid exactly that. The second time, much more urgent, I caught Charlie in the shop at 630pm and explained my situation. He took the bike right in and had his guys work on it. Within 15 minutes, it was all fixed and I was on my way. What I was most impressed about was that I had actually stopped by a dealership on my way to Charlie's. The techs there told me I would need a new throttle and that they were closed and couldn't help me out. Charlie's guys fixed it, no new parts, no hefty price tag! As a side note, and it may not be as important to most riders, but the techs at Charlie's shop and extremely respectful and polite. I did not get the name of the young tech who worked on my bike, but he took the time to explain to me what he did...he even tightened my mirrors! I will never go back to the dealership with Charlie and his crew around. I highly recommend that if you care about your bike at all, you bring it here.

Brought my bike in after dropping it, couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided by the team and the quality of the work. Spoke to me about ways to save money, and communicated well, far better than the other places I've dealt with in over 20 years of riding.

I had to get a part for my Harley powder coating to make the bike look nice and Charlie's chop shop did an outstanding job. Quick fast and reliable the job looks excellent thank you

Powder coated rims, exhaust tips and Xpel on the entire front of the car. Top notch, I won't ever use anyone else.

He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the installation in under 1.5 hours. What impressed me most was his professionalism, attention to detail, and cleanliness. I was in the middle of a work meeting, and by the time I finished, the installation was already complete, and everything was put back together perfectly. The mobile service is a game-changer--no waiting at a shop, no wasted time, and no hassle. If you're considering a screen upgrade or electronics installation, I highly recommend Daury. As I live in an apartment building with no free parking available, Daury met me at a nearby Stop & Shop parking lot and parked his 'Splicemobile' alongside my wife's Mazda CX30. The job was installing a 12v outlet so that my wife can blow up her inflatable paddle boards, and within an hour, the job was done. Daury arrived on time looking sharp in his 'Splice' branded polo shirt, put protective covers on the car seats (much appreciated), and did his magic. He was congenial, all smiles, knew exactly what he was doing, communicated his arrival time, and most importantly, he was professional. I will definitely use him for my next install. Highly recommended!

Took my car to this shop, agreed to have four speakers with amp installed…read more It was pass the time it was supposed to be done so I called and was told it'd be ready in 20 minutes then was called back and said it'll be ready in about an hour and a half his tech wasn't finished and he had to look for parts Once I got to the shop, there was a fire a few blocks away, although you couldn't see where, you could smell the smoke so then the guy use the smell of the smoke as to why it was taking longer. This is two different reasons he's giving me Once I received the car he says... It's louder right? I say... Yes it's definitely louder. (that doesn't necessarily mean that it sounds good). He says if there are any issues/problems to come back there's a warranty I leave almost immediately because I had other things to attend to. At the very next light I navigated to my EQ and noticed all of my sliders were raised about 80% it wasn't a uniform/straight across but there also was no tuning method of any kind applied either. The very next morning I noticed a pretty audible hiss coming from the back right speaker I already planned on stopping by to ask about the eq sliders being raised in that fashion but now I made sure I went there in the am when they opened. I arrived and let them know the issue. At this point the original sales guy I was dealing with the day before wasn't at the store yet also the hiss from my back speakers is more like a buzzing sound now. The tech that worked on my car was there and also was the one who initially worked on the car this day. He ended up signaling that he was done and the guy at the register told me to check it out. Once I checked I noticed the buzzing was still there (no difference at all). No real action was taken until the original guy I was dealing with the day before arrived. At this point a different tech is tending to the car. He finishes and tells me to check it out. Once I check it out I noticed the pretty audible hiss is back but now it's in the front passenger side speaker. The tech goes back in comes back out and says... Drive around the block and see if you still hear it. So that's what I did. Guess what? The hiss is completely gone but the audio sounds really weird and has virtually no bass at all. So I let the tech know and he began adjusting the levels on the amp. This is where things go from bad to worse. The tech was not getting the levels right and the original sales guy I was dealing with also began adjusting the levels and it just wasn't sounding good at all. At this point it's approaching 1:30pm and I've been there since opening at 10am. I leave, return an hour later and another round of adjustments and tuning commences. To no avail. The guy I was dealing with (amongst other things) kept repeating you had 25 watt factory and I put 100 W in. You had 25 W factory speakers and I putt 100 W speakers in. This is something he kept unnecessarily repeating earlier as well. That's weird, why is he trying to convince me of something that I'm not questioning. I returned the following day (which would be day number three) and let them know they had to fix the tuning to where it's palatable or put factory speakers back. At one point during our back and forth he points to the no refund or exchange sign then almost immediately says that he would refund me, but then charge me for reinstalling the factories. He then refused to further service me and told me that I had to come back Thursday claiming to be too busy until then. I bought it on Thursday came back Friday came back again Saturday and he says I can't come back until the following Thursday. I immediately go to another audio shop. The passenger door was inspected and the first thing pointed out was that there was no cover on the speakers also because it had rained recently the speaker somehow got wet The last but the most important thing is the speakers were 35 W that peak at 100. They're not 100 W the way this guy was repeatedly emphasizing and trying to convince me of... What a surprise!

Recently, I brought my SUV into the IDFR shop in Woodside to have a rear bumper guard installed. First, I called them up after seeing them listed as a retailer of the Broadfeet rear bumper guard. I spoke to Melissa, who let me know if they had it in stock and, if they didn't, would order it for me. She called me back about 15 minutes later and informed me that they had it for my vehicle make/model/year and that I could bring in my SUV the next day for installation. She gave me a price quote and also a timeframe of how long it would take. In case I arrived too late, she asked if I could contact them to let them know so that I could come in the following day. The very next day though, I arrived on time 2 hours before they closed and drove my SUV into their small garage. Their main mechanic was working on 2 other vehicles when we arrived, so I had to wait a little while for my installation to start. At the end of the day, it didn't take long for them to install the rear bumper guard (approximately 3- minutes) and they did a fantastic job installing it onto the back of my SUV. When it was all done, it was exactly as I had envisioned it would look and I paid exactly what they quoted me over the phone, which by all means was less than what I anticipated, based on what I had seen online. At first, the guard was a bit off and not straight, but the manager, Edward, came out and fixed it quickly for us. Edward and Melissa were as nice as can be and honest too, which goes a LONGGGG way in building trust for automobile repairs. If I need any additional work on my vehicle, such as camera installation or bumper protection, or if anyone else I know needs that type of work done, I will definitely be considering/recommending the IDFR Woodside shop first!

I brought my car here in January 2022 to see how best to fix my center console which had the…read morecigarette lighter pushed down into the front of the console by a valet. Omar came in with the console and the guy said it would be $60 to hot glue it. This is literally a 10 min job. And $60 is a lot. But they gave me the price after having the console apart. I would up giving omar and his assistant $6 tip as I wanted them to do a good job. I thought they did an ok job until a few days later, I noticed that the middle of the console was not fitting right and that the cover for the emergency brake was sagging down. It turned out that when they removed the console (rather roughly) that Omar or his assistant broke parts of the console that were fine when I brought them in. When Omar showed me a cover plate, he showed me a hairline crack, and told me that, "You must have broken it when you tried to fix it." That was nonsense. I didn't want to cause a scene over a hairline crack but I had no such crack when I brought them the car. Turns out he caused way more than a hairline crack. As you can see from the photos a big chunk even of the main console itself was actually broken by him just below the hairline crack - and that chunk was now missing. Look at the hot glue etc. These parts were all fine before they manhandled it. I've had this car since new and they man handled the console and did more damage than they fixed. I contacted melissa once I saw that it was all not fitting together right and that the emergency brake cover was falling apart and she assured me they would make it right. That was in January 2022, 4 months ago. She promised me my $66 total would be returned and she would pay for the console parts to be replaced and repaired, even somewhere else if I chose to take it somewhere else. Sounded great to me. A shop that would do the right thing. I sent a list of parts with a hope that they would try to find them and to fix it. No word back. Some of these parts are available new and some are certainly available on eBay. Not one of the various (3) emails I've sent since I spoke with melissa (recently even just wanting the $66 back) went answered. Total ghost from her. Emails to her: Jan 19, April 20, may 27 11am. Nothing back. Like I said they did more harm than good and they didn't tell me the truth that they damaged the middle area of the console. You can see where they hot glued areas that had nothing to do with the 12v port in the front of the console. My point here is that omar and his assistant were not honest that they did this and would need to repair it; and that when it was brought to her attention, melissa promised to do something to remedy the situation and then chose to do nothing. They manhandled my car, pretended like a small issue was pre-existing (which it was not), and somehow omar assumed I would not see the missing chunk of plastic? That's kind of playing the customer for a fool. They did not bother to make it right. I would not use this place because they don't stand behind their work. If something goes wrong with your car, I wouldn't expect them to be honorable and tell you about it. You can probably assume they will hide it and will not reply. I went here because of the good Yelp Reviews but had a totally different experience. I have other photos but this should give you an idea of the force that had to be applied to the console to get it to break like that.
