We took advantage of the 3 kayaks, and there is also a canoe. We lazed away afternoons on rocking Adirondack chairs, wooden chaises, and enjoyed our home-made meals (there is a refrigerator that guest can store food in, which is a really generous touch) under the twinkling, nighttime lights of the umbrella-d picnic table, The rooms are decorated with much attention to detail, the beds were super comfy, although the Lodge is on the main drag, even with the windows wide open we did not hear a sound from the McDonald's across the street, the sink mounted on an antique Singer Sewing Machine table is cool, the clawfoot mini-tubs are fun, although a little difficult to maneuver in and out from because the shower curtain is attached all the way around. Yulia the manager moved us to the room across the hall since ours was taken and we wanted to stay longer and ended up in number 10 for the past 2 nights. What bliss! The staff was amazing! They were available easily by text or phone and accommodated us with any need we had! Towels... change of sheets, cleaning. We went back again the following year, last year 2023 and stayed in another suite since the ones we wanted were not available but without fail, we loved everything about our stay! This time dad came along and he enjoyed it too. Needless to say, we look super forward to being there again this year! Third year in a row! Thank you!

The motel was recently renovated and looks very fresh. There are I believe 4 different cabins with 2 motel rooms per each cabin. The room we stayed in was nice and private. The hotel owner was very nice and offered to get their guest fresh coffee in the morning. If you need it there is a grill, picnic table, and a fire pit for use in the common outdoor area. This place is dog friendly with a $15 fee. There is no TV in the room, but there is good free WiFi. There is a brewery about 1 minute walk from the motel that is a must visit and you can get your dinner there from food trailers located on site.
