You never see anchovies offered, and I just don't understand it. They are so amazing on pizza! Oh my goodness - it did not disappoint, whatsoever. It's all about the dough, baby, and their dough was next level! It reminds me of a place in Baton Rouge growing up, called Fleur De Lis. They were Sicilian owned and had the best pizza. Just something about the dough. That yeasty, almost beer-battered aroma wafting from the dough. The sauce was good, toppings were good. I think I got mushroom, spinach and green peppers with the anchovies. I feel like it was literally the best topping option I could've possibly ordered.
