Dan just completed a kitchen / flooring remodel at our house that lasted several months and my wife and I can't be any happier with him and his services. Dan and his son Shane don't sub out any of the work and they are able to skillfully tackle all aspects of a large project like ours. They tore down a wall, installed a 350 lb header, re-wired our walls, ran a new gas line for our stove, added a new wall, outlets, lighting, painting Sheetrock, texture, tile, and installed new cabinets. Dan built a walk-in closet and bathroom above our two car garage for my daughter the work was amazing. he has always done amazing work

I'd give him zero stars if possible. I hired him to remodel my bathroom. Never again will I use his services. His incompetence and verbal abuse will no longer be tolerated. He did pluming under my house that didn't pass the house inspection because it was NOT done up to code, so it'll cost me more money to get that fixed by a professional. When I brought it up to him, he got angry and started sending me nasty and harassing text messages in the middle of the night. Next, he laid tiles that were uneven so my feet keep catching the tile while walking on the uneven surface. Then, he sprayed sealant on grout lines on the floor and continued walking all over the wet sealant in his dirty boots and drilling walls and making more dirt and dust on wet sealant. Next, his door painting skills are amateur as he left a scratchy rough surface instead of leaving the paint on the door smooth. Next, he left all ducts under house without insulation, in addition to leaving concrete debris mess there. Then, his verbal abuse and constant harassment, worse in the middle of the night, will no longer be excused or tolerated. Finally, we had a written agreement for him to complete the job and get paid but he continued to harass me to alter the agreement we had made. He constantly demanded I pay him $5,000 more because he didn't like his original estimate we both agreed to and he decided one day that I should pay him more money. He breaks agreements, he's incompetent, amateur, harassing, verbally abusive, disrespectful, and out of a job at my place, forever. The list of examples of his incompetence goes on and is endless. I'm happy to finally move on to a contractor who is respectful, professional, and pleasant to work with, and NOT work with this dude anymore. read more

Dan and his son, Shane, have performed several jobs for me including fixing a gate and installing a light fixture above my hot tub. Recently, Dan and Shane replaced a deck for me on a rental I own, including tearing out and disposing the old deck. He added lights on the stairs which look really nice. Dan communicated with the tenant regarding days and times he would be working on the deck so that I wouldn't have to get caught in the middle. I was in an extreme bind with my furnace quitting in my rental property, my tenants were cold and noone seem to know how to get the correct part in time and get it working. Dan has done multiple projects for me at 3 different houses. He did a great job on each project which included a mobile home remodel where he did carpentry work both inside and outside the home, lattice installation around the base of the mobile home, he built steps at the site, did some light plumbing which included installing faucets and toilets, and he assisted with the overall project planning. Dan also prepared a rental home two times for me that was in need of care which included hauling away debris, cleaning the home and the carpets, interior painting, and he installed laminate flooring and a hot water heater.
