Due to my age I have rec'd flowers over the years on several occasions. In all my years I have never had flowers last as long as the ones I rec'd recently from Charlotte County Flowers. Not only was the arrangement beautiful but without exaggeration the flowers lasted about one month, even the roses which are usually the first to wilt. I am very disappointed with the Mother's Day tulip arrangement that my Mother received. The tulips arrived extremely cold and wilted, they looked sad!! We noticed 2 pennies in the bottom of the vase, (florist trick). Tulips never perked up after they warmed up just wilted more and started to die! I tried calling both local phone numbers with no answer from either one. I wanted to give them a chance to replace their bad arrangement. Left a message on a 800 number I found for them, not sure if they will get the message. I would NOT use this establishment!! read more

I NEVER edit reviews. Until now. Gonna revise to three stars. Flowers are very nice, service is not so nice. No call, no nothing, but at least the damn flowers showed up before I had to move my sleeping quarters to the garage. So, flowers 5 stars. Responsiveness 1 star. Averages out to three stars. Gonna add one more because the delivery person was REALLY pleasant. I rarely post reviews. I understand that it's Mother's Day, and guess what? My favorite mom hasn't any flowers. Why not? CCF hasn't delivered them yet. They took my order, promised delivery for yesterday and? No flowers, no call, no way to contact them (their phone goes to a long winded voice mail explanation that they're really busy) and no return call back from them. So I called the 800 number, and got? A service that also could not tell me if and or when my flowers would deliver. She couldn't even tell me if it was ok for me to just pick them up, as she didn't know if the order was ready or even if the store was OPEN for pickup. She sent them a message as even she could not call the store directly. Great system, right? Who knows if the flowers are nice, we haven't seen them yet. I ordered 6 days ago, they said they'd deliver, and they have not. Guess who'll be sleeping in the crate with the dog tonight? I have to say when dealing with a small business it is always personal. This florist is no exception!! I get flowers for my wife several time a year and they are always better then pictured on the web. I have even called in to the shop explained what I was looking for and they hooked me up with a great arrangement. I have even called last minute to change the delivery date and as always no problem. Charlotte County Flowers is absolutely a 5-Star Florist. It can be difficult ordering flowers from a different state, but Roxanne and her staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Very disappointed as I ordered Peach Dreamer and my mother received what looked like a bouquet that I could have purchased in the grocery store.  I understand they have a clause that the bouquet may not be exact as the picture but this wasn't even close.  I figured I would order from a local florist as I pass by the shop all the time.  Lesson learned...never to use them again read more

I was unimpressed with the lack of creativity, sophistication and lack of vase selection. The price was high, but the flowers were cheap. They gave me a choice of one vase over the phone. One vase! At a flower shop! And one price! My girlfriend sent me photos of the arrangement. Just ordinary and blah. I ordered flowers for my moms birthday and they weren't able to fulfill my order (even though it was an option on their website). That's not the problem. They called me on Monday to ask me if I wanted to change my order. I didn't have time to call back til Wednesday. When I did call the women was extremely rude and admonished me for not calling back on Monday. She was horrible. She told me the flowers I ordered were out of season and acted like that was my fault for not knowing that. I almost cancelled the order but I don't have time to go find and reorder from some other place close to punta gorda. Never order from them if u think u might have to have a conversation on the phone with "her"! read more
