This store is very junky. It's too many clothes you can't hardly walk through the aisles and the workers there do not present customer service as people are walking in. I was searching all over the store and nobody asked to help me. Nobody said welcome. Nobody asked me if I needed anything . You need to check your workers because one of the girls were in a huddle with the other coworkers, and she was describing how she got sick the other night and they were very loud.And that made me leave the store because it was so gross. This store is very junky. I like the prices, but I mean, if I'm not getting the customer service, then I'm not coming back in there. That was horrible. read more

Service sucks. Girl working here doesn't know how to converse with customers. We asked if my daughter could try on clothes. She said just go in. All doors in dressing room were locked. I said they are all locked. She looked at me, turned around and walked to the desk. No words nothing. She finally came to the dressing room I told her she found an open room. No words. I'm an avid online-shopper, but there are times when I have the patience and energy to browse an over-crowded mall... especially when it comes to Charlotte Russe! Seriously, about 86% of my wardrobe is from Charlotte Russe, and I won't change that any time soon. It's crop tops, event attire and maxi dresses galore here. They also have a good amount of random finds like phone cases, bath stuff and perfume, too. Good-sized store with plenty of stocked racks. You can find the cutest and latest trends, without paying a fortune. It's so hard to narrow my picks down to a few -- the selection is so great, I just want to go overboard! There's also a shoe wall, but I haven't had the best experience with it. Every time I fall in love with a shoe and ask to try it on in my size, it ends up being the very last pair. How does that happen?! Does the store keep all of its shoe returns, even if they're from online purchases?! Not fair. Another great thing about them is that their online deals are simultaneously offered at their store locations, too. I can get a promo email from Charlotte Russe, check out what the sales are online, and then come to the Northridge store to take advantage of the deals without having to wait on shipping. Works for me! The check out process can be painfully slow, but the associates usually call for help if 2+ people are waiting in line. Returns don't take very long, which is nice. read more

We visited the store today and one of the items was worn by the mannequin. Due to the pandemic, there was only one service provider (who acted as the cashier and sales assistant) for that day. My daughter and I appreciate the good customer service provided by Christine. She said she just got assigned in Northridge for the day but she is from the Lakewood branch. She provided good customer service by removing the item from the mannequin despite of the fact that she is the only person serving all the customers. read more

I've shopped here many times over the years and I've never had a problem. I came to this location recently looking for a dress for my work holiday party. One of the employees was this young white girl (maybe 18-20). She was actually so sweet and tried suggesting styles I could wear. Another employee also brought me different sizes after trying on things in the dressing room. Everyone was helpful. Charlotte Russe usually has good sales on dresses and pants. It seems as if what I used to like about Charlotte Russe is no longer true. No more cheap prices. They've definitely increased the prices... Shirts typically were about $15 before - now they're around $22 for everything... even little see-through tanks! Sorry, there are stores with about the same type of clothes for less than that. No more notorious cute clothes. They changed their selection to a lot of work clothes, which is fine, but not when I'm shopping for Vegas! CR used to be the staple for cute "going out" clothes! I guess I gotta go out and hunt for some more hole-in-the-wall boutiques to make me happy... I'd still get clothes here, but probably for work or from their sales rack, and I don't know if I'll be motivated enough to search through that thing. Not only did I totally buy my prom number here, I find the best deals. Cute shiny dresses are always on clearance and I need to see the word SALE! to enter a store alright! So fresh and clean if ya know what I mean. I love this mall so much too. The ice cream stand, the department stores, the outdoor bookstore and the AIR CONDITIONING phew! This location recently reopened and I love it. I enjoy shopping here. I love that I fit into their sizes. I am curvy and I don't fit in regular sizes or plus sizes. I am in that awkward in between and their large fits me perfectly. They have a wide variety of clothes and I'm so happy it's open again. read more

Thought I'd come to check out the revival of "Charolette russe" this place reopened awhile ago but IT IS NOT THE SAME CHAROLETTE RUSSE. Their intellectual property was bought so it's not the same clothes as before. The clothes are ugly and overpriced for such cheap material. Their pants are so cheap you can smell the chemicals off of them. I'd rather go to forever 21 to buy clothes than here and I'm not even a fan of theirs. Should of just let Charlotte russe die. Please not my review isn't based on the retail store itself, but for the customer service through their online store. I truly have no luck. Weeks ago I placed an online order using 2 gift cards where there was no balance. I tossed the cards because there was a balance of $0.00. I get an email that says 1 of the items was canceled so $20 or so would be back on one of the gift cards. I didn't keep the gift cards because there was no remaining balance. I call up and the guy I spoke to said he has worked for CR for years and that this has never happened. He said within 48 hours I would receive an electronic gift card with the $20 or so. That never happened. In the mean time my order never arrived and I checked the tracking which said delivered. I live in a gated community. CR told me to contact the post office so I did. The post office said it was delivered. I call back CR. They told me to file a police report. They wouldn't take my word on it saying I could be lying in order to get free clothes. I file a police report. My local police department doesn't actually have a literal report. You just get a badge number, cop name, and report number. 2 of the customer service agent reps said they need the literal paper, I finally got a supervisor who said they were misinformed and they accepted the information that the police officer gave me. I was told I would get a gift card for the stuff within 2 days. You think that happened? I must have spoken to at least 8 people on the phone within a 1 week period each who lied or blew me off. My favorite was the supervisor who said she would for sure call me on Sunday either way to keep me updated on this. Again, NEVER happened! I call today and got another supervisor. They said it would take another 48 hours. A few minutes later I was then told to give it 120 hours since it's the holidays (it's not Thanksgiving yet...). ONLY reason I'm not giving CR 1 star is because I get cute, cheap shit here which I regularly have gotten compliments from. If this place didn't constantly have sales, I wouldn't continue being a customer. read more

Extremely poor customer service. The store looks likes it's in shambles. Asthetically displeasing. I was in line for a meer easy gift card for a Secret Santa who said they liked to shop here. One person was in front of me but forgot they wanted to make a return when their items were already rung up so the cashier had to call back up because she seemed new and didn't know what to do which wasn't the issue but I had asked what seemed like a supervisor if they sold gift cards and she said yeah and that the ladies at the cashier would be right with me. I waited for 15 min and walked out. The person I asked didn't even look busy. They missed out on easy profit for their lack of customer service skills. I would suggest take your money and go elsewhere. I browsed the store before getting in line too and everything looked cheap and not in a good way. I will never give my money and business to a store that can't even acknowledge me as a customer. How do you think you get paid ladies? By people buying from your store.
