I'd like to know where to find the policy that states an employee of this company can send my package to the wrong address and that it would be my fault, and I would have to eat the cost. He refused to examine the pants closely or consider that a one-wear item might have a manufacturing flaw. I left without a resolution--not because of the policy, but because the interaction was so unprofessional that I no longer felt comfortable even attempting to negotiate. A useful warning for others: If you buy here, inspect your items carefully and keep all tags, because if a defect shows up later, don't count on management at this location to work with you. Tyler sets a very unwelcoming, rigid tone that completely undermines the brand's usual reputation for service. Noticed the manager took a special interest in us to slowly walk past and stop to 'organize' items next to us. Saying "hello" after the fact but then proceed to walk past again. Still looking around for items, another worker decided to get extremely close while 'putting clothes back.' She did not speak but i thought what coincidence that you're coming right next to us when I just seen you two aisles away aways working. Lastly we get to the register and another cashier decides to stand behind us as we are getting our things rang up. I noticed this energy wasn't provided for the women right before us who also had a lot of items, even spent the same amount, maybe more. Nor was this energy being given to the people who were after us who also had a lot of items. I used to work retail and understand there's procedures on how you have to be on the look out for theft but when there's other individuals who are lighter complexion with the same items, doing the same things that I have and that I'm doing and they aren't being met with the same energy, that gives off a different impression. Definitely shows there's a biased from the workers mind you the area the store is in is predominantly black and brown... I'm going to try and be super lenient with my review as they just opened last week. I've been to…read morenumerous other dd's locations and this one has a lot of work to do in order to catch up with some of the other locations. However, everyone loves a good discount! This new location is a lot smaller than some of the others but that was not my issue. My problem with this location was the lack of staff, cleanliness, and difficulty to find prices on certain items. Most of the shoes I tried on did not have a price (see picture) and it was hard to walk through some aisles as things were on the floor in the way. I wanted to buy some water bottles for my son, but as you can see from the picture it was already black and dirty on the outside. They had a decent amount of items in their travel section and you can get some pretty good deals on suit cases as well as perfumes and other items. I was able to leave with some new baby pacifier and some kitchen cups. I will try going back in a few months to update my review after it's been open a bit longer and hopefully worked out some of the kinks.
