This place would be considered a Delano staple in my eyes. It is conveniently located on main St. and open late which was great! They included outdoor seating as well. Service was fast upon ordering in my opinion. Ordered the wet burrito with both red and green sauce and a fish taco on the side. Their burrito is huge and they definitely don't skimp out on meat. It was a mix of mush, which was not as amazing as it could have been. They took a long time as well, maybe I went on the wrong day though. Decent spot for a quick bite to eat off the 99 , it's okay nothing special . I've been here before about a year ago and it was actually a little bit better. On this particular visit I got a wet burrito with shrimp and carne asada, it was ok the shrimp were breaded and they were a bit skimpy on the meat. I asked for no sour cream and they put a little bit in it which was disappointing but I ate it , I don't like to complain. The tacos dorados my daughter got looked good but she said that they tasted dry they were lacking something.. My wife had the torta and she said it was good. Found this spot while I was driving in Delano...like they say The hole in the wall....are the best. I can finally agree. They have daily specials and the prices are great. The burrito came with chips, red salsa and a cooked pepper with really good seasoning on it. I really enjoyed eating that pepper. The total for my lunch was under $9 for all that. The salsa on the taco was good and the meat in the burrito had a good taste to it. I did see the sign says famous fish tacos, so I will have to try those next time. They have a wide selection of Mexican food. We went at night and it was nice down Main Street and quiet. The shrimp cocktail is pretty good and the shrimp tacos are a must! In one corner they put jalapeños, in another was pico de gallo, and guacamole. I should've asked for no guacamole because I wasn't in the mood for it. This place gets busy during lunch time. Use to love this place, along with the charros in Pixley. But this place has honestly gone to s***. Prices are way too high for the quality they give you. Customer service is trash. The girl who takes orders , real short , is very rude. Last time ordered rice and said it would be a 10 minute wait, but there was NO ONE HERE !!!! And all they did was throw it in the microwave. i also asked if I could get chips and salsa on the side because in Pixley they give them with every meal , but here they charge you? But yet when I asked if the lady taking my order if it was the same owner they said yes ???? How does that even make sense.?? And to top it all off , as we were watching our $7 24oz of just rice being warmed in the microwave,, the lady was washing utensils with dirty gloves that she used to touch some of the meat that she was preparing.
