Today has been a very terrible day for me I called and wanted to talk to someone at this branch…read moresomebody answers from another country call center and I said I made it very clear are you from the branch in Puyallup no we're not so I will transfer you so they transfer me in another person answers and I said are you from the bank right there at the bank itself no I am the call center I will give you their number so I take their number of my bank in Puyallup and I listen to a thing and answering machine and then it says no one can answer the phone goodbye. I wanted to scream. What has happened to customer service anymore I heard there's new hours at their bank and I told the call center and they said no it's closed I said no it's not supposed to be closed. I also made it very clear I want a bank that I can call directly and someone in that building answers the phone and I can get my business taken care of I do not like the Wells Fargo how it works after Monday I'm going to go in that's what they told me I have to go in to the building I said with gas costing as much as it does just to ask a question I have to go in. Anyway as of Monday or Tuesday I make a decision if I'm going to stay with them or leave them this is ridiculous.

I've spent almost 4 months getting the proper paperwork in order. I waited a short time for a banker to assist the couple in front of me. It was a short time because she wasn't actually able to help them, but sent them out the door saying they needed to bring back something else. When it was my turn, I presented the paperwork sent to me by my attorney. In turn, she sent it over to their legal department to check to see if it was "sufficient." (Really? Opening accounts is your job but you don't know what you need to open an account? But...okay.) she then had to call them to see if the documents were okay. I had presented the death certificate, Letter of Administration, EIN number, and of course, all my identification. I was told that I would also need a letter of probate. News flash: the Letter of Administration serves that purpose! Their crack legal team should have known this. But my greatest source of frustration was that the banker didn't CARE that she was unable to assist me. No apology to me, and no apology to the customers ahead of me that she also sent out the door without helping. Contrast this experience with the one I had today at Umpqua Bank where the lady who greeted me immediately knew my paperwork was in order, and their Relationship Banker who actually expressed her condolences for the loss of my mother before assisting me with my needs. I will be pulling the rest of my business from Wells Fargo and hope to never darken their door again. Between the bankers at WF and their crack legal department, it's no wonder they've been plagued with so many class action suits. But first, in July, I asked how much a Cashier's Check would cost and was told it was free as long as I was a member. And it was. Yesterday [9/10], I was told the fee was $10, adding it has NEVER been free! !?!? Trouble is I was $4 short and I DESPERATELY needed that Check. Already frustrated with my account, I started to bawl. The Agent, ice cold and indifferent, didn't offer me any tissues and I didn't dare ask for any. Next, I explained a FEW of the issues I was having with my account, mentioning an Agent on the phone had said she found a "glitch"---her word---although she didn't offer to have IT fix it. I went to get a cashiers check yesterday afternoon. Rarely do I need one, I asked the teller (a male Caucasian) to add information on the memo area, and he would not comply, only allowing me to put my apartment #. Very snotty attitude as if I was ignorant for asking such detail. The transaction world as it is today is scary enough with all the scams, I wanted what I wanted and his power of authority was rude and not his best service.

I need to submit some paperwork for my auto loan so I have to wait for the specialists and I have been waiting over 45 minutes. Seems kind of an excessive wait. Once I was called back, I asked if the tellers knew how to do what they did in the offices and she said yes but that they wanted to keep the cash transactions fluid. I get it, but there was a lull in the line and they could have stepped in. The guy waiting ahead of me had a 1 year old and they could only entertain that child for so long. Once an employee in the room was finished, she came to greet us and checked us what the purpose of our visit was. We let her know and she said she could get us scheduled in for a little later as they had some staff members show up. We got some lunch nearby and stopped by again and we were helped by another employee. Connor was very personable and ensured that all questions or concerns were addressed as we brought them up. Additionally, I didn't know how to use their coffee machine and he kindly made me a cup of hot chocolate as the hot chocolate packet was out too. Connor then gets right to work as he helped my boyfriend make his account and made sure to give any cautions or tips for his account. Once my boyfriend had no question, I had a question as I fell for a scam years ago and WSECU placed restrictions on my account and I was told that I just had to make sure I had no issues on my account for some time. I decided to ask if I was okay to have those restrictions lifted off as I haven't any issues with my accounts. Connor immediately started a phone call and was kind with the employee on the phone who lifted off the restrictions. I'm so glad to have WSECU as my main bank and my boyfriend seems content with banking them so far as well.
