The floors are dirty, the offices sit empty, and the ceiling tiles are covered in water stains. Instead of inspiring confidence, it feels neglected and abandoned. After waiting more than an hour for an employee to return from lunch, I was then told that I couldn't digitally add my ATM card because, according to the employee, Bank of America's systems require customers to wait until the physical card arrives in the mail before it can be added. The most frustrating part? I asked why the first employee hadn't simply told me that before I wasted an hour of my day. The response I got was, "People just aren't very well trained." An hour wasted because of poor communication, inadequate training, and an understaffed branch. This location doesn't just need a facelift--it needs a complete operational overhaul. Customers deserve competent service, clear communication, and a branch that doesn't look and operate like it's been forgotten. Bank of America should be embarrassed that this is the experience they're delivering.

Priscilla was rude, nasty and acted like she understood my mother's needs better than I do. My mother is 90 years old and has some physical and cognitive impairments that require her to need assistance. I assist her in handling her business. I have spoken on her behalf to the social security office, Medicare, attorneys, doctors, pharmacies, other banks and more with no issues. -- and Priscilla refused to let me speak for my mother who has hearing loss -- even though my mother told her twice the first day and four times the second day to talk to me so that I can interpret for her. The second day Priscilla said to me, I'm going to help her without you which stressed my mother out more -- my mother refused to budge and even after my mother kept telling her "I need her in there with me", she refused to deal with me. Finally, she had no choice with my mother's insistence. She accused me of stressing my Mother out when we just needed her to do her job, and we had all the correct paperwork. Priscilla demanded documentation that didn't exist and we didn't need and acted like she's doing us a favor -- without even looking at her account. She told us that our documentation was wrong and sent us back to the attorney and in fact she doesn't know what she's looking at or talking about and it was done correctly. This manager would rather argue and fight and control my interaction with my mother -- than just do her job. She's unprofessional, condescending and an embarrassment to the bank she represents.

They repeatedly offer their assistance, and even directly noted to me that their job was to take care of any bank related issues so that I can focus on my business. The receipt came back with the entry that I was over my credit limit and that my purchase was denied even though it was well within my established credit limit. When I contacted my local branch, I was told that my debit card credit limit fluctuates on a daily basis and that my Level 4 rating had been lowered to a Level 3 limit. I had never been given any prior notification of this "fact." This is a horrible way to treat a long time member with sterling credit. If you are planning on joining LAFCU, do yourself a favor, don't! No matter how good your credit is, LAFCU will treat you like dirt. Avoid them like the plague!

Some of the people are nice here but I've also experienced the tellers dilly dallying while people are waiting. I stood waiting while one teller had a conversation with the security guard. I feel like some of them have a large chip on their shoulder and then act dysfunctionally towards bank clients. I don't get it. So many people have written bad reviews about this bank. Why have they not addressed it. I also agree that everyone seems to lose their marbles when they are behind the counter and forgets how to do a simple transaction. Even when the relationship bankers step up to help they don't seem to know how to do them. They have leisurely conversations with counter customers when numerous people are in line.
