Only one person ahead of me so my quckie in-and-out plan was pretty much in the bag. There was only one teller and her customer looked like whatever transactions she had was going to be complicated. Another decided to open up a window since the line behind me got long all of a sudden. (3 or maybe 4 people in a matter of a couple of minutes? I came in at a good time!) While doing my transaction, the teller (possibly a supervisor) asked if I was interested in opening a checking account. I declined immediately (because I really don't need it) but he gave me something to think about when he said I would get free services included should I consider it due to my account's standings: free safe deposit box and no-fee cashier's checks were the ones that hooked my interest. He was multitasking and completed my transaction as well as gathered paperwork to review should I be interested. I was literally out of there less than 5 minutes. It was a really good and quick run! I figured no worries there is a Bank right across the street. I have seen this Bank 100's of times but never stopped, come to think of it I have never really seen anyone go inside. I pulled out my ATM Card to withdraw maybe $40 and I was hit with a $3.00 service charge. The ATM looked like I just stepped out of a DeLorean after hitting a speed of 1.21 gigawatts. I was lucky this machine even worked. I despise greed & this business just made my list of places I would not pee on if they were on fire. I know that is harsh but when this business fails they will probably eventfully asks themselves what they could of done differently and not being so greedy will probably never make the list and that is sad. I will make sure I have money next time around. I will also make sure if I hear someone talking about having to hit up the ATM that I tell them the service charge that is going to be associated with their transaction and hopefully change their mind in giving this place one cent of business.

More importantly, as anyone who's dealt with them knows, BoA has a deservedly terrible reputation for hidden fees, changing terms, and basically "stealing" everything they can get their hands on (legally they will send you an exhaustive form letter in 8 point font, but you know what I mean). Buyer beware -- there are lots of other options, particularly online banks who are FDIC insured and will treat you and your business much better. Don't trust these jokers!
