The folks in here were just clueless. The banker that helped me add a savings account to my checking was unfriendly and he acted like I was taking him away from whatever he was doing before I asked for help. Most importantly, he was wrong...I asked him if I could add money to savings as I wished and he said no. I got home and easily transferred money from checking to savings. Next...they were wrong about me depositing my grandsons check in my account. I could have done all this online and will from now with useless customer service like that. read more

I've seen this for the 8 years I've been coming here. Even if they can't help me directly, they will put me through to their customer service line to get answers right there. I first opened my checking account back in 2003 when they were still Washington Mutual and what really drew me in was the no strings attached free checking account like most other banks have of free only with direct deposit. When I first opened my account, the tellers were very helpful and quick. But back in January of 2009, I needed copies of previous monthly statements since I had a habit of shredding them since I would always check over them to make sure that the correct deductions and credits were made during that time frame. I didn't realize that I was going to need some of my previous statements. Since I had locked myself out of my account, I had decided to go into the branch and ask them to print copies out for me since it would probably have been faster for them to do it instead of me being on the phone with them forever unlocking my account. The teller that had assisted me had made a remark to the degree of "Why didn't you just do it online? You have access to all of your previous statements there." And as she said it, it seemed as though she was annoyed with the fact that a customer had gone in and requested her assistance. Since then, I haven't been into this location. I started going to the branch on Bruceville and West Stockton Blvd. The branch is newer and nicer and the tellers are definitely nicer and more helpful. Not as rude as the other tellers when someone goes in and is in need of assistance of some sort. read more

I always had a good experience with other chase branches. First I went to this Branch I had to deal with a teller named RENEE, it was close to closing time (5:45PM) so she was very rude, no Hi, no smile, I deposited a cashier check and she put a hold on it which by law should not and even if it was a personnel check as a good customer she should not have put a hold on it. Even worse she didn't say that she put a hold till I asked her for balance and when I asked how to fix that she said just to call customer service without having any sympathy and not even saying bye or offering any service or help. That was a really bad experience and this teller is a bully who likes to treat customer badly, she should not work in a branch as a teller. As long as she is there I will never go to that branch again read more

There was a guy sitting in his cubicle on his phone and saw us but didnt offer help. Love all the upbeat associates there, they never leave a customer cold there when waiting for service. This is very unique comparing to other big banks. The location is conveniently located in a Target parking lot. *Anything located near a Target is considered convenient. There is always plenty of parking, there isn't usually too long of a wait, and the staff are nice. A quick in and out when depositing a check. read more

My most UNfavorite location in EG. Staff is always rude, short, and unappreciative of business. There is always long long LONG LINES. Staff is so slow and they don't care. They are so inefficient. I avoid this location anytime I can. In fact when I was in about a week ago I waited in line 30minutes. Only 2-tellers. They didn't seem to mind too much the growing line to the actual door. For a minute I thought I was at Walmart. Totally unacceptable. read more

Irina I believe her name is, has horrible customer service. I went into this chase to make a cash deposit, I clearly miscounted because I was a dollar off. Anyways, she replies saying, "you gave me x amount of money when you said x, x plus x equals x (I'm omitting the numbers). I said I'm sorry I know how to count but no need to say it that way. Then she didn't even ask if I wanted my balance on my receipt, just printed out a receipt and handed it to me and walked away no exchange of words. Worst experience I've had a Chase bank, I'll continue with my normal chase where they seem to pride themselves on great customer service. 3 stars for successfully depositing the money lost two stars for customer service! read more

Every bank is different these days. Unfortunately for Chase, I can't say that they value their customers. These guys are horrible. I had some change from my kids piggy bank and I took it to chase where I had my account. Chase did not take my change and Demanded that I put them into rolls. I stated that it's not enough to make a role, however, they told me to get more change and add it to your existing change to make a roll and come back. Who does that? They were just standing around and were not even busy at the time. I was upset after hearing that and I went to Wells Fargo Branch to see if they will honor my request. I didn't even have an account with Wells Fargo at the time. No questions asked, they changed my $12 of coins to Dollars. I was so impressed that a week later I opened a personal and business account with Wells Fargo and hope to close all my accounts with Chase over the coming months. read more

I stopped by at this location to cash out my checks but I was told that since they are drawn from a different bank they won't be able to cash it. I stopped at this location because I was in El Grove and we were taking the kids to go swimming and I needed to pull out some cash to pay and the ATM machine was convient and also when I visited inside the staff is as usual courteous and wonderful to work with. read more

I don't remember a time I entered this bank and waited for less than 15 minutes in line. The tellers are so lost and the bankers are so disorganized it is ridiculous. And don't try to deposit cash in the ATM unless you want to open a claim for lost money. There goes 45 minutes on the phone. read more

The people that work here make this a fantastic place to bank. The branch manager, Megan R., goes above and beyond to make sure her wonderful employees are on top of everything. Customer service is number one. Finally, a bank that makes that their motto and a branch that carries it out. I used to come and make deposits at this branch all the time but my last experience was horrible. The tellers here are ok, but I can't say the same for personal bankers. I went in to get set up for a credit card that I was already pre approved for. After making a appointment with a banker named Nick, I ended up coming 10 mins before my appointment time, because I was on my lunch hour. I ended up getting helped by a girl named Kristina (I think that's her name, she has light brown hair that comes down to her shoulders) her service was horrible ! Very rude and stuck up. Did not tell me the benefits of my Freedom card. Did not go over how to activate my rewards that I get every quarter. Nor did she bother to tell me what my interest rate will be! How do you sign someone up for a credit card and not go over its benefits or perks? The worse part of it all is that I tried calling this branch multiple times in order to get a hold of the manager (Bernedette) and left multiple messages and never received a call back; in order to tell her how horrible my customer service was. I will never be going to this location again. I now go to the location off of Elk Grove and Franklin in the Raleys complex. Not only do they have more personable bankers, but they are also knowledgeable and very sweet. Please go see Rose or Ceclia at this location. They helped me refinance my car and also upgraded my accounts to premier. Once again never go to this location to sign up for credit cards nor anything that has to do with a personal banker !! read more
