I recently had a horrible experience with this bank over their handling of a fraud claim. The bank…read moreforced me to pay back $3,480 that a cyber criminal stole largely due to their lack of security to prevent fraudulent Zelle transfers. They also prevented me from filing a police report by refusing to provide me with an affidavit of dispute. To make matters worse, they initially lied to me about whether they were going to cover the loss. All my interactions with their fraud unit were extremely unpleasant, and they treated me like a criminal rather than a crime victim. My wife and I are in the process of terminating our relationship with this bank. After speaking to the Associate Director of the Consumer Services Unit of the NYDFS, I filed a formal complaint against this bank with the CFPB, their federal regulator. In response to my complaint, the bank accused me of lying about the fraud and refused to provide me with an affidavit of dispute. Therefore, I was prevented from filing a police report with the NYPD. To protect yourself from fraud, I suggest that you do the following: 1. If you have a checking or savings account with Bank of America, close it ASAP. If fraud occurs in your account, the bank will do nothing to assist you. 2. If you have to perform a credit card transaction, make sure to use a card that isn't linked to a checking or savings account. This will protect you from fraudulent cash advance transactions. 3. Never allow another person to look up or dial a phone number for you. Always verify the authenticity of any phone number you call.

Why do I have to go through that if I don't want to deposit it into my bank account. Then my records would show deposit more than I make. I urge you be very cautious with this business. Came out lickety-split! The staff inside is always very nice! And they keep the place clean. Since it is on an island, almost everyone knows each other there and people pick up their trash and don't stuck gum everywhere. Just like all banks, their hours are too short lol! Nut the 24 hour ATM is great! And since not too many people live on the island, there is never a line or anything like that. All in all, it is a nice Citibank. It's located inside the small shopping center so good luck with parking! There is not enough spots. Bit that is Rockaway Bwach in general, no parking anywhere lol!
