I've been a Chase customer for 10+ years. I'm trying to roll over an IRA account and they literally will not do it. So I went to this branch with my paperwork in hand to do it in person. I was told I'd have to wait for a banker. Spent the next few minutes be interviewed by the greeter with questions the banker should've been asking me. Instead, this "banker" was strolling around the back doing paperwork, instead of focusing on the customer in front of him. The good part is, this experienced inspired me to check out other banking rates, and there's so much better out there. I'm looking forward to pulling my $$ out of this joke of an institution. read more

Stood in the lobby for 15 minutes until the teller finally came to the front. Tried to cash a check, was told it was to large to cash without having an account despite the online policy stating there was no limit. Offered to open an account, was told i would have to come back the next day. 3 staff members literally sitting around doing nothing. Why anyone would bank here I'll never know. Horrid customer service, just awful. read more

Attempted to withdraw cash from the ATM on 11/22 and was met with an error that the ATM can't give cash. That was a first! Never encountered this with any ATM, even in other countries! But the same ATM eating a check without depositing any money it is also a first. This ATM is all kinds of firsts! read more

The people working in this branch are nice. The management in this branch are extremely incompetent. Any business card they ever gave me never worked. People don't respond to their emails. The phone numbers keep saying the this location is closed even though I'm here multiple times every week. Now I come here during business hours and the location is closed at 3pm even though on the door there is a sign that says that it's closing at 5pm. Same thing online. There's absolutely nothing that bothers me more than businesses that just don't care about their clients time. Chase in general are extremely disappointing when it comes to customer service. I just had a horrible experience at Chase Bank on Augustine Dr in Santa Clara. I was going to cash a Chase Bank check, and I was told there is an $8.00 fee to do it. THAT IS CRAZY! BofA doesn't charge a fee. Wells Fargo doesn't charge a fee. Citibank doesn't charge a fee. Horrible Chase Bank! There are many more better options out there. read more

Went in at around 10:05am on 7/2, to make some change as a neighboring business and a Chase member. Teller was unenthusiastic, needed some bills and some coins. Said he can help me with the bills and not the coins, not even a roll. Thought Chase was an elite bank, but this location especially being in the Santa Clara Square complex, this aint it chief. Especially coming out of the pandemic, customer service is King. read more

Did not have a notary. Sent us to a different chase who also didn't have a notary. Literally the worst.

I was there for address verification. It's not some profitable business so they let me wait and served the other customer who was there later than me. This was not too bad since I didn't wait too long that another banker help me with it. I required the banker to stamp, signed his name and and title on the form as the other banker( Mountain View branch) did for my husband. He said he cannot did that even after asking his manager. Only attached a business card with the form. They are either not professional enough or not nice enough to their customers. read more

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. This bank doesn't even deserve 1 star. Stay away from Chase bank as they will steer you into the wrong direction and cause your account(s) to have issues. They closed my accounts due to an error on their part. The tellers should have more knowledge and training regarding new accounts and depositing checks into the ATM issued by a third party, which the teller said would be fine and I should have no issues doing this whatsoever. This teller had ZERO knowledge of this action being an issue according to the branch manager, Jessica. The manager was not comforting or kind at all. Upon meeting a customer, you should always have a smile on your face and show some kind of empathy especially when your customers are upset or frustrated. read more

My husband and I had the greatest experience with Ignacio. I have been with the same credit union for over 25 years and it was time for a change. I have many family members who are part of Chase, so we decided to go ahead and open an account at this location. The branch is super clean inside and out, and there is ample parking spaces. Ignacio walked us through the entire process. He showed us the different checking and savings options. We chose what fit us best and we walked out as new, very happy customers. Just walked in to this Chase branch to open a checking account and a savings account. Of the 4 staff in the branch, apparently only 1 was able to help me with such a complicated request and he was occupied with another customer "for probably an hour". Uhmm ok. I'll go elsewhere read more

Needed to deposit rent into landlords account. Didn't have his account number, as he does not want to give it out, for security reasons. Usually I give the teller his name then they find him and I'm able to deposit. Teller at this branch said there's no way for me to deposit to his account since I don't have his account number. My question is, do you think the customer is happy with just anybody having his account number? I feel like that exposes him more than just using his name for a deposit. Also I've never had this problem, and usually the teller will make an attempt to find the customer and then sees that there is only one of him (his name is not common) and then makes the deposit. Too bad, my experience with Chase is usually very good. But reading these other reviews of this branch probably means it's just the culture here. read more

Worst bank I've ever been to. I tried to pull more than $3k out of my own bank account today and was turned away saying that I need to call in advance so that the bank can get supplies with more money. What kind of bank doesn't have $8,000? I also went in on another occasion to fine Zero customer service or support with allocating funds for my business credit card payment. After 10 minutes of waiting in the lobby twirling my thumbs, someone finally came to help me...and they still had no idea how to help me. read more

The Private Bankers & CPC Bankers are fairly experienced. The rest of the branch needs more training on how the bank works, and processes to put in place to not waste customers time. Highly do not recommend coming here unless you are doing things that do not directly involve the handling of cash. read more

I will give 1 star because NO star is not possible to give. The personal is not able to solve any problem and they have to call someone else on the phone that promptly cannot resolve nothing either. This bank is brand new with new E-deposit machines! Very cool. Open on Saturday - unlike Charles Schwab! Till 4pm - unlike Citi!

The inside of the bank has a "modern" new layout; there is machine in the middle of the bank (where a person use to be before). Trying to get service can be annoying. However, the floating real human tellers are nice. read more

It's not the Chase company bank but the rude ass employee. I did not get her name. She is an African American girl with her hair braided in a bun. It was my first time using their newly developed atm and I guess the way I was inserting the card was wrong so the atm was beeping. She came out of her cave and snagged the card from my hand and shoved it rudely to the machine and said in a very rude tone "you inserted it wrong" and walked away. My bf was with me and said she's probably dealing with that for the whole day. First, it's her job, that's why she works there right. But to be rude because she's annoyed ahhahahah. What a joke. I never had such rude customer service with any chase bank. And I'm not being racial profiling either just because I'm saying she's black... I just don't have time to grab her name because I wanted to exit out of this rude customer service place. What happens if an older folks walk in and need help in getting cash out of that stupid new atm. read more

This Chase branch is exactly what's wrong with retail banking. I work nearby and went into this new branch twice but they couldn't help me with any of my needs. The staff just stand or sit around, while customers do all the work with the self-service kiosk and interior ATM machines. On my second visit, I was looking to notarize a document. While the staff was polite, he told me they don't have a notary agent on staff. He called around several branches and none of them have notary agent. After quite a bit of wait, he found another branch but was only willing to notarize Chase-internal documents. This is just crazy - if I conduct business within Chase system, couldn't they just look up the information on the computer and why would they need notary service to pass internal data or document?! It's a sad day when retail banking location can't even notarize a document or help with other basic banking needs for its own customers. read more
