What is up with the "excessive activity fee" that they've been hitting me with lately? I only had one transaction during one day and *bam*, $10 excessive activity fee. Then another day with a couple of transactions and then *bam* again, another activity fee. So I can't narrow it down on when they charge this mysterious fee. Those fees were charged three days apart. I've been with them for a couple of years already and haven't seen this fee until recently. Other than that, it's been a good bank to me. They even have a couple of locations in New York City which was convenient for me when I was traveling there. read more

If I was in the banking industry, I would DEFINITELY want to work here! Everything is ridiculously nice. Employee lounge on the 17th floor has an amazing view of the Sound, plus outdoor seating for 400+ people. According to the security guard, the Starbucks in the lobby is the second largest one in North America (1st is in San Diego). read more

It's new! It's has a fire place in it! It's has a nice sitting area in it! It has three ATM's in it! It's open at 7:30 am! I love this WaMu, it's new and located in the WaMu Center, the staff is very friendly and helpful. If there's a line the manager will pull up her sleeves and help you out with your banking needs. This is one of WaMu's Occasio branches meaning no more high counters and teller windows now you'll find an open, welcoming space with free standing stations for the tellers to work from. If you are doing a withdraw you receive a code on a piece of paper and head over to one of two machines that provides you with your cash, the tellers no longer have money drawers or what ever they are called. If you ever have banking needs before work this is a great place to do it at. read more

Would NEVER recommend Chase Bank to anyone. They started off fine, but trying to deal with them on my business account became hell. They ended up closing my business checking acct and saying I did it. When they realized they closed it - a simple "reopen" wasn't possible, I had to redo all the forms & paperwork. I went into the branch, said I was closing ALL my accts & they just said "OK". I won't even begin with their phone customer service. read more

I really like this branch out of the many branches I 've been to. It's a hit and miss with the branches. Some days the tellers are friendly and some days they're not. I've been here many times and the service is always great. Right when I walk in the manager greets me and I don't have to wait long to be helped. One time I had to get Pacific Francs for a trip and the teller was really helpful in explaining the rate and how long I would have to wait before I would recieve it. I didn't know I had to order it and it would be shipped. I was leaving soon but it came right in time. Whew! read more

Received an invitation for a Chase Card. Then they actually sent me a Chase Card. I immediately cut up the card and sent a note back to them that I didn't want anything to do with Chase. Their customer service is the worst anywhere. The uppity women that run local branch I went into were rude, condescending and just plain b------. Well I thought that was that and went back to my life. But no. Somehow I am receiving charges on the card. Charges I have not made. I cut up the stinking card and never used it. So now I am in a constant battle with them. On the second complaint call months ago, the gentleman I talked with told me he could see that I had called in February and then again in April stating the card should be cancelled, I cut it up and did not use it. I had also written "cancel" on each of the invoices I had been receiving. He told me that he would now make sure it was cancelled, period, and I would not receive any charges to it because it had been cancelled and Chase should never have excepted charges to it. Well, guess what? I receive another statement. And guess what? New charges. I call again, get transferred many times, hangups several times, and then talk with someone that said they would "look into it". Still waiting. Looking forward, NOT, to the next bill from them. read more

The atmosphere is very awesome in here; huge ceilings, slightly comfy chairs, a lovely fireplace to keep you warm, a plush starbucks in the lobby and I must mention a stunning view of 2nd ave (*snickers*). It is a slower paced branch so line waits for tellers and bankers are practically non-existent, which is great for those of you in a hurry. Plus it also has 3 ATM's in the foyer out front. As for the service, I enjoy the employees, they're good people. As for the company, I'll keep those comments to myself ;) read more

I am never using chase again I've called them three times for a overdraft fee that hit my account after I already had funds in my account. In the entire time that I've had chase never have I ever been charged and overdraft fee hours after using my card. And now they are trying to tell me it's because it's on a different time zone like get the fuck out of here with that bullshit man. What's really bad is when they know they fucked up so they just keep transferring you to different people and then suddenly the call gets disconnected. Chase bank. Penalty charge - more than $300 for the lost cashier's check! I have opened an account in Chase bank. When I closed my account, the teller issued me a cashier's check. Unfortunately, this check got lost. I came to the Chase bank and said that this check got lost. The bank didn't make a "Stop payment" on the check! They only did it a few weeks later. Now, Chase bank asking me to pay more than $300 to reissue the lost cashier's check or wait 90 days. I gave a call to Chase customer care department and they told me that manager in the bank would be able to remove this charge and issue me a new check in the branch. I spoke with the manager of the Sammamish Chase branch and got a "No" for an answer. I feel like my bank is taking advantage of me. Those charges would negatively affect my life and worsened my finance situation. It never happened to me when I use to be client of "Washington Mutual" bank. read more

I almost opened a savings account here when they had this special offer: $100 to open a new account. But unfortunately, one must deposit at least $500 per paycheck a month in order for it to be free. When I said "no thank you", the man who was helping me said: well, the hundred dollars will pay for those first fees. Nice try, sir. My safety deposit box was transferred from WAMU to Chase at the change. I can continue to pay for it and visit it. I cannot update any info or add another signer unless I open an account with at least $300 in it just to sit there while I still pay the fees. This is blackmail! I did not ask for you. I rent the box according to previous agreement, which you accepted when you let me stay. BAH! Off to WSECU!!!!! read more
