This location is by far the best one. The one closer to my job has always given me problems at the ATM and always seems to get stuck and then u have to file a claim and call and it's just annoying. Because this has happened so often I just switched locations and now that hast been a problem or I just go inside. This location is great, I've came here as well to get Euros when we were planning a trip to Europe and it was simple and they had it for us within a few days. If you need a local bank service and hospitality. This is not the location you're looking for. I have tried to open an additional college savings account here 5 times. Walk ins are not welcome, despite the bankers not having customers in their office. Even on a weekday, midday. Booked an appointment. College account is for kids, I have kids, so I was running late. I texted, then emailed, when I showed up. I also explained I did not need the full hour. This was going to be quick account opening. My appointment was given away. But I thought they don't accept walk ins? When trying to contact the bank, it is automated. Cannot get a hold of a human. Have to book everything online, but when I show up, people appear not busy. In short, for banker services, I'm just going to use a local bank and only use the mega banks for higher frequency transactions. read more

What a joke this Bank is. Right up there with BofA or worse. The problem is with these mega banks, they don't give a @#$% about you. Your small beans to them. Getting in touch with someone...forget about it. Payments posting when they should....forget about it, unfortunately I was forced to use them for my mortgage after they bought first republic. I hated first republic too, but not nearly as much as Chase or BofA. It's amazing how these crooks are allowed to operate without getting sued. I came to this Chase branch in Torrance to take care of some issues with my account. There was only a couple of people waiting for the tellers when I walked into the lobby on a Saturday afternoon but apparently this Chase bank only had one banker working and you have to make an appointment ahead of time in order to get service which was a bit frustrating when I looked over to where the banker was sitting and he wasn't busy or working with any client. Ruba the lobby representative was pleasantly helpful with the situation I had after I explained to her the reason why I came into the branch. For the first time in business with Chase Bank, I had an awful experience with this branch. Firstly, I and my family waited one hour before I seeked help from a cashier. Then I had to wait ten minutes for her to figure out who could help me. After ten minutes, she informed that the branch manager will help me but I have to wait for ten more minutes. When the manager appeared, she took us to an office where computers didn't work. Then she took us to another booth where she rejected every document she demanded and I presented. For instance, she said if I presented a lease where my wife name and home address appeared, she will accept it. When I presented it, she said she asked for lease to see if your wife would be employed by the leasor which doesn't make sense because lease is to show your living address not employment. Though I am inspired by many Chase bank employees but delays, no customers care and nonsense arguments are main weaknesses of this branch. read more

Thank you Giovanni for fixing my problem today. Chase suspended my card for no reason & I was about to come up here & raise hell !!!!! I PLOTTED ON RAISING HELL! I WAS EXCITED TO GET ANGRY LMAO, but luckily Giovanni didn't allow that to happen. I was able to get a temporary card along with a rush debit card to my house within a few days. What an amazing branch, I came in after days of trying to open an account at other banks and had the most amazing experience with Nicholas! I made an appointment for the wrong day and he still helped me right away with a bank full of customers. Everything was so speedy but he taught me all about the app and broke everything down for me. At the end the manager came to personally meet me which made my heart so full considering the manager at my last bank wouldn't even see me. Recently moved to the area and I came into this branch to change my name after getting married. I had a great experience today with the Chase employee who helped me. I didn't get his name unfortunately. He was very helpful and provided great service with changing my name on my accounts and cards. He even encouraged me to bring my dog inside rather than leaving her in the car. Definitely glad to have a Chase close by with top notch service. read more

I'm rating this 5 stars because of how quick and easy it is to replace a missing debit card! I misplaced mine and headed straight to Chase as soon as I found out. I walked in and a woman sitting in her cubicle acknowledged me quickly and sat me down. I explained to her my situation and within 10 minutes (maybe even less), she cancelled my old card and printed out a new one for me. There was no wait time for activating the card. In fact, I used it 5 minutes later to buy myself an early dinner :) The place itself is very clean and organized. I love Chase! read more

Really only the four stars because it is new...so in the meantime the place is nice, cleann, and spiffy (definitely much nicer then BoA across the street). Other then that, well the service is the same as any other Chase bank - mileage may vary - though in the nicer neighborhoods like this one, usually they pretty good. On the other hand, not quite sure why they needed another Chase bank when there was one litterally in the plaza diagonally across, but not really going to complain as you can get a lot of shopping done in this plaza (e.g. Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Rite Aid, etc...) and your workout in at 24 hour fitness. read more

Irresponsible stuff, I wanted to open an account there, one of the bankers told me it just takes 15 to 20 min then he asked me to provide a document to do that. When I came back he didn't expect me to come so early. It was around 17:20 p.m and they suppose to close at 18.00 .he left the bank and there was nobody else to help me there. After sitting and wasting 20 minutes there one lady who I don't know what was her position there came and told me your banker came 30 min early today then he left 30 min sooner!!! Are you kidding me?! If your work hours ends at 18.00 p.m you MUST have somebody there to assist your customer. Then she said opening an account takes at least 1 hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!then she left without even saying sorry about that! read more

Jonathan Wisco is the most amazing person in the world. I can not thank him enough for helping me investigate a fraudulent transaction that happened in my account. Before arriving at this chase bank, I had gone to another one in Hawthorne, I told the banker that someone deposited and took out $2,000 from my account. I had no idea who the person thst quick paid that amount to me, let alone how they took that amount out of my account without my authorization, Long story short, the banker at Hawthrone said that I was the one who took that money out and that they didn't find a trace of anyone else getting into my account. I was like WTF! that wasn't me!. He told me I had to find that 2,000 and return it to its original owner, if I didn't I would be over drafted $2,000 and pay the bank. Also, he told me that the money that i had in my account was not accessible and I couldn't get it back. I was devastated because i needed that money. I went to another chase bank and met with Jonathan and he saved my life. He called and said that I've been a victim of fraud. I was so scared. He said, "don't worry I'll take care of you". And he did just that!!! He told me step by step instructions on what i needed to do to clean my phone and computer from any virus and kept reassuring me everything was going to be okay. Then he said, " now lets get your money back" I started to cry!!! I was so happy and thankful that I was able to get my money back. He has no idea how much that meant to me! He also told me I wouldn't have to pay the bank anything! so that brought me so much relief and happiness that he or no one would understand. I went in to deposit cash and ask a question about a credit card offer through them where I write a check and deposit into my account. Of course the cash deposit was simple and could have been done through the ATM. But the reason I went inside was to ask a question about the credit card offer through chase bank. When I asked she looked disturbed and said she didn't want to give me the wrong information. Which is fair, but then offered no help after that, such as let me check or you can speak with this person here. A line was building up behind me and she seemed more concerned with that than helping me. So I just asked what 3% of 3000 was because I knew that was the offer and didn't have my phone or a calculator on me. Instead of figuring it out and letting me know she made me get out of line go to a calculator at a table so I could calculate it then wait back in line!!! read more

Whenever I walk into this branch of chase I am greeted with a hello and a warm smile. It makes me feel appreciated that I have my money invested here. The lines are not long and the waiting time to see a representative is very short. The counter people are very helpful, kind, friendly and most of all very professional. Most of the staff is alright and friendly, but there is one particular man who works here who is extremely unprofessional. I'm not sure if he does this intentionally or not... but working at a bank... I would assume he would have some kind of professionalism. He pretty much airs out every single person he "helps" bank information... from their entire name, to how much they have in their account, but not just to them, it's EXTREMELY LOUD to where everyone can hear, I don't need others knowing how much I do or don't have in my account. Never coming back to this location. If you care about your privacy, I'd suggest you don't either, because this man is there pretty much everyday. read more
