We came in, signed in, and waited for our turn. It didn't take long at all, but we have been in at other times and it did take a little while. Opening the new account was quick and painless. In fact, it seemed like it was faster than opening up an account elsewhere. Christianne also educated my son on the app, which is very user friendly. This location has two ATM machines that you can deposit, withdraw, and check your balances from. Beware, sometimes it can be slow to count cash and process when you are making deposits, so just be aware of your surroundings. There is also another ILWU location in Wilmington and they are affiliated with a network of other credit unions throughout the country, if you find yourself elsewhere and need access to your accounts.

The bank teller immediately looks at the check and my CA ID numerous times and treated me like I was a criminal trying to cash a bogus check. She refused to help me and would not accept the check issued by her own employer bank! It was clearly a legitimate issued check and failed to even check and just handled it in her hand. Told me she could run it but then there would be some stamp code in the bank which would make it difficult for me to cash it at my own bank to which I replied why would that happen if I'm not going to my bank I am here this is a Bank of America check not Chase. This is ridiculous that I could not cash this check. She forced me to go to my own bank across the street and refused to help me or offer to speak to a supervisor. She just handed me the check and my ID back looking at me like I am a criminal. Sorry excuse for the face of your company. It seems pretty shady when my dealerships bank can't honor their own bank notes. I inquired why this would be so, and she said "in case they get busy." She was sitting there staring at an empty screen when I arrived, literally not doing anything, and there was no one in line and barely anyone in the store. It was 1:45 pm in the afternoon. There was another gentleman there, who appeared to be busier than her. She did not offer a time or offer an appointment to return. I asked to speak to the manager, she gave me Pablo Corral's # which turned out to be the customer service line. I was able to get routed to the branch and spoke to the woman "Cindy" and asked why she had not told me that the # was a basic branch #. She said she's not allowed to give out the manager personal #. I said I hadn't asked for that and she could have informed me the # was not direct and the hours he could be contacted. She took my # and said she'd pass it along. We'll see if I get that call...
