I have a few accounts with a couple other banks, including another credit union, but I wanted the ease of being able to transfer money quickly to and from my son and of course it's easier with the same banking institution. We came in, signed in, and waited for our turn. It didn't take long at all, but we have been in at other times and it did take a little while. Opening the new account was quick and painless. In fact, it seemed like it was faster than opening up an account elsewhere. Christianne also educated my son on the app, which is very user friendly. This location has two ATM machines that you can deposit, withdraw, and check your balances from. Beware, sometimes it can be slow to count cash and process when you are making deposits, so just be aware of your surroundings. There is also another ILWU location in Wilmington and they are affiliated with a network of other credit unions throughout the country, if you find yourself elsewhere and need access to your accounts.

I first dealt this Nancy, who was great at suggesting what type of account would be best for me to open. I don't believe nancy works there anymore, but the few times I've had to sit down with a personal banker I've been very satisfied with the hispanic guy who usually helps me. (I'm bad with names) I've lost my card twice, and they've relpaced it at no charge. The lobby is very well kept and there's usually no wait when I go.
