Usually I don't go inside for deposit and went West Covina location. Let me tell you. If you the teller name Priscilla cash box #4 watch out. No manner and rude with an angry face for a teller. What is wrong with you?! People go there just want to deposit their money. Why are you so angry?! No greeting nor a hi after give you a receipt deposit with annoyed face without a thank you. How can Chase hired/train a teller like this for customer service. When she spoke to you sounds like we are bothering her. Why are you got this job?! If you don't want to be there pls stay home, others will want to work. What a shame big bank like Chase have this such human being as their staffs. Walked in to this location, I'm asked was the reason for my visit I explain and the lady tell me we haven't taken our lunches and we are completely booked, I guess she was hungry unhappy, unethical and unprofessional too. I decided to wait for about 45 minutes into another unprofessional lady tell comes up to be asking again the reason of my visit, I explain again to hear we are booked we can schedule you an appointment. Wow,live and active humans are running this bank not machines like Mr. Roboto waiting for you to push their buttons and no human interaction. Ahh,so refreshing to talk to someone about your transaction or the upcoming weekend or just maybe nothing that has to do with nothing.Point being it's just nice to have some kind of human communication.The customer service is a hit or miss but I also think that it depends on what time of day one comes in.I noticed that the afternoon hustle and bustle is more stressful for the tellers than coming in the morning but that's just my personal observation,I could be wrong.To be fair,we all have are off days and we are not always up to par but I will take that in a heartbeat over a lifeless machine.We don't realize what we miss till it's gone. They could have easily told me to commit to getting the card but instead they heard me out & recommended that it was best for me to not commit to a travel credit card if I didn't plan to travel 3-4x's a year. If you're bringing in new business, go to the Eastland location instead. I was here to open a CD, sat and waited several minutes for someone to take my name, and when I was brought up to the teller window to be given a link to open the account myself, I explained my situation, and the manager that sits in the corner office playing on his phone was called over. He asked me if I had an appointment, to which I said no, and he said the next appointment was already here and I could make an appointment for next week. I told him I was gonna go elsewhere instead, and promptly drove myself to the Eastland location, where I was promptly greeted, name noted, called within 10 minutes, and had my new CD within another 10 minutes. This is the 2nd time I walk out of this Azusa location and over to Eastland to open a new CD. There won't be a third because I won't be returning here. read more

Came by on a Tuesday morning around 10 am. It was fairly empty inside, and I didn't have to wait for someone to speak with me about my checking account. He was super helpful fixing our problem, and even made a call to IT/security to check on another issue. What I don't like about this location is the parking lot situation. Consumers allow banks to use their money and do whatever the banks want with it but for customers to not be able to use the bathrooms is just absurd. TLDR: Typically speaking the rich get good customer service at banks while the poor just get the bare minimum. That was not the case for me, they treated me kindly and helped me out. Earlier this year I walked in to the Chase bank and got great service. I didn't review right away because banks are always nice when you're opening an account. Since then I've returned plenty of times and the service is always good, with the exception of one or two tellers. On my visit on Feb 11 2019 I didn't even add money into my account. I cashed a check and brought a bunch of loose change. I asked for the coin rolls and was given them free, I asked for a place to sit while I counted my change, and was given an empty desk to sit at. That right there was enough for me. Jorge, the manager took things even further. He dug up an old coin sorter and helped me roll my coins. He didn't need to do it but he did and was super chill about it. He came across human and casual. He saved me a lot of time and grew my loyalty to the branch. read more

My fiancé and I went in to try opening a CD and we were turned away by the young lady (wish I had gotten her name). We went in yesterday (Saturday) and yes we were aware they closed at 2pm. To be specific it was 1:25pm when we walked in. After being asked what we were there for and saying we needed help with a CD, the first thing they asked is if we made an appointment. We said "no we didn't". Than, she went along saying how they close at 2pm and that it took about 45 minutes to do. So pretty much it was a "come back another day ". We clearly saw we didn't want to be helped so we didn't argue and left. I regret even depositing my 20k here at the window. We called up another chase close by and Vanessa right away said "come on down" . She was from the Eastland center. Mistakenly, we drove to chase by the west Covina mall and asked for Vanessa and came to find out it was the wrong chase. The funny thing is that the staff here helped us too. By this time it was about 5 minutes till 2pm. Mirna Nunez did a fantastic job opening our CD and only took about 15-20 minutes to do it so thank you to her. While sitting with Mirna , we got a call from Vanessa over at the other bank wanting to know if we were still going to make it. Vanessa also went overboard to make sure we were taken care of and was very friendly over the phone despite us driving to the wrong chase. In conclusion, we got our CD done thanks to Mirna at chase on Vincent avenue by the mall. As you can see , our situation turned into a big rush and confusion after being turned away at this location. If your going to walk in, go elsewhere as apparently they only like "appointments only". I bet chase managers say "every dime counts" Well this branch lost out on 1 new account , and a 80k certificate of deposit. The drive thru atms are nice here though. She struggles with logging into the chase app, she has gone in for help and been turned down and spoken down to for seeking assistance. One party was able to do the process and she was informed that the other party just needed to go and sign really quick. So, on a weekday I flew to be there on time. We waited in line for a while to get to our turn to pay for something, the Teller couldn't process for some reason and the other banker tell us to have a seat and they'll be with us shortly, waited another 10 mins for another available banker for them to realize they have to process the payment differently on their end. The banker that told us to wait tell us to get back in line but she'll call us up. Nope, she looked at us but didn't do anything and made us waited in the long line for another 20 mins until our turn then she came over and help the Teller. We were here over an hour waiting around for something that's not our fault and then made us wait in line the second time until our turn when she told us she'll call us up. Unbelievable!! There are now two more additional bankers talking numbers and need of vacation that don't seem like they have any intention of checking the growing list of people waiting to be helped. ***They gave me counter fit money*** I went in to the BANK on 1/25/16 to see a teller in order to make a withdrawal larger then the ATM would allow. I went in got my money along with a receipt that was put in an envelope. I then went to WELLS FARGO. I have an act with them for my bills. I went to deposit the money from CHASE into the WELLS FARGO acct and the ATM would not take 1 of the the 100$ bills. I thought it was odd but didn't have time to go into the branch. I held on to it and decided to go and get something to eat the next day when I went the lady told me that this was fake. Of course I was so embarrassed. I then called Chase and spoke with Lizbeth in a nutshell she told me that there's not much She can do. If I wanted to bring it in they would send it to secret service to determine if this was in fact counter fit and If so they would send me a letter. Of course my response was ok then what happens ? She said nothing you and the bank are at a loss. Really? I am in disbelief that this is the way CHASE handles the situation .The bank at a loss?. Yeah right!!! I then spoke with branch manager Marco and he pretty much reiterated what the previous rep said.When I asked him if it's possible that the Branch has counter fit money he said "Yes,it's possible" But there is no way to prove that it came from us. I continued to express my frustration and his response was "Is there anything else I can help you with?". REALLY!!!! I can't believe that CHASE being such a large company would not have a better system a place for this especially if there is a chance that this CAN happen. Why do banks think it is ok to let humans go and use machines. People want PEOPLE to help deal with their money. Banks make millions of dollars a year on interest from holding our money. Then they charge poor people when they make a mistake. $30 per bad check, $5 for a money order. They makr money off of us and Everywhere else in town charges $1 for a money order. When will we revolt against this oppression? 2 days ago I went into the chase west covina and changed my address. I even got some temporary checks with my new address on them. Kristina Gonzalez has a terrible attitude and has no customer service experience. Not only did she be little me, she made me feel as if I wasn't explaining myself properly. As a lead you should know how to speak with your customers and listen instead of talking over them and causing a scene. I attempted to communicate with her my needs and she refused to take the time and listen. As shes yelling at me over her desk people are beginning to stare at me as if I was the problem. Considering banking is a customer service-based thing I would have to say this is one of the worst branches that I've ever been to. I have over a half dozen accounts with Chase and have dealt with over 2 dozen different branches over the last few years. I walked in dirty from a long days work and with the owner of a body shop that I was doing business with who looked the same. I would have to say that maybe based on that the only vibe that we got was who would do the best at avoiding us. I needed an endorsement on a check which literally has taken three minutes in the past and suddenly everyone was too busy to help us. What a joke. After we waited in line the teller told us that everyone was busy. One guy that looked like he was just sitting around suddenly had a conference call to be on and the other competent banker was opening account and will be busy for an hour. I've only used the ATM machines here. Easy to access and have had no issues at these machines. I've only done withdrawals here with no issues. The usual issues I have with Chase machines is for deposits. I've yet to have a great experience at a Chase machine where the full cash deposit was accepted. There's details that if the note was printed before a certain date, it will not most likely be accepted by the machine. Then what's the use of making cash deposits this way? Anywho, so far so good at these machines for withdrawals. read more

You know how Chase always sends incentive marketing materials -- open such and such account and they will give you $x back? Don't fall for it! They will have you open the account and never pay you the incentive payment. I was due a $1250 incentive payment and have been asking about it for over a month. According to them, they entered in the wrong coupon code and all they say now is they "are working on it." It is really infuriating that there is such a lack of respect for their customers... I've literally called like 20 times. Very, very unprofessional. I'm taking further legal action now and am in the process of transferring all of my business with Chase (mortgage loan, bank accounts) to another bank. read more

A disaster every step of the way. JPMorganChase turns off your online access arbitrarily. I tried to login to activate my credit card quarterly bonus, and my info was rejected. I have had the same credit account for years, since JPMorganChase converted my WalMart card to a standard Chase account. A little over 2 years ago, my monthly transfers were blocked until they sent 3 of their own totaling less than a dollar to the exact same account they had accepted payment from each month! This removal of records has happened a few times. I tell them over the phone to "check my account history." The response: "our records don't go back that far." I used the same laptop and the same google; but I get to rebuild my access to my account every time you do a records dump. Why should I clog up my phone with the app of a business that doesn't give a % if I do any business with them or not? read more

The worst most disgusting experience I have ever had in a chase "JP MORGAN" financial institution from their "banker" Alexa Barragán. I along with my parents had an appointment at 15:00 on September 24 to simply have myself removed from their account and their "banker" is the absolute worst. When I say the worst I fucking mean the worst this little squeaky voice with low customer service called my mother to confirm her appointment and since my mom didn't not know the number I answered and this financial employe denied to identify herself which per federal law "when a financial institution calls they are obligated to identify themselves." I should know I work for one. After denying to indemnify herself my mom put her on speaker phone and until then she said where she was calling from. This "banker" did not even offer my father a seat seeing that he had difficulties standing and simply focused on my mother when it was my removal of the account. Gave some serious attitude that you could not measure on how much of a bitch attitude she had. Alexa's customer service needs some serious improvement with proper training or should be terminated. This last visit killed me as I tried to deposit a large dollar check and he said I couldn't deposit because it didn't look right and just said "is there anything else I can help you with" sarcastically .
