The staff here is really nice but the wait times can be pretty bad inside the branch. Make an appointment if you need to speak with a banker or do a transaction outside of a teller, or chances are, you will wait a bit. I am giving 5 Stars for the branch Manager Jaime. He went above and beyond assisting me and my handicapped father with a recent, frustrating Chase Phone support issuse, regarding a third party check from my father to myself. Jaime met with us at the branch and negotiated a series of telephone calls and 'on hold' wait times for over 2.5 hours. Poor guy worked straight through his lunch break. The Chase telephone support members, who were obviously working from a 'script' were making the entire experience much more difficult than necessary. Ultimately Jaime handled the (somewhat difficult) telephone support staff with tact, grace, tenacity and professionalism. He worked through the all the issues to resolve the problem. Thank you Jaime! Update: Today I spoke to the person in the bank who set me up with an online account. This person told me that when I was there last week, they spoke on the phone to someone from "client services", and that person said that I needed to apply online for the particular card that I wanted. The person who was helping me apparently interpreted this to mean that I needed an online account. Applying for a card online and having an online account are two completely different things, but I guess the banker who was assisting me did not know this. read more

I found the bank clean and spacious. The teller who helped me, Chris, provided five star customer service in my transaction. Service was fast and friendly. I also liked the blue and silver Christmas decorations. Lines were short while I was there at 11 am. I guess I miss good old fashioned people service compared to an atm. They have atm's in and outside and a drive through if that is your thing. My recommendation is that they give all rhe employees name tags. read more

A very kind representative called Christopher helped me through a very difficult process and worked so hard to resolve the issue. And my gratitude to the manager Jamie as well. I'm sick and tired of the nickel and diming swine that have taken over America's financial institutions, among which Chase Bank is apparently vying for the title of Swine King. Chase recently took over the local WAMU branch and, as of December 2009, began charging an additional $2 for all non-Chase ATM withdrawals. I didn't receive any notice of this new development, nor was I informed that the local Chase ATMs would be out of commission for a week or so for "maintenance." I did, however, receive a pamphlet outlining Chase's overdraft "protection" clause which basically consists of a $35 charge every time there are insufficient funds. That's $35 each transaction, up to three times a day. Bastards. This comes on the heels of three solid months during which I was unable to make deposits into the ATM of my bank, since they hadn't fully "rolled over" my account from WAMU (even though I had a Chase debit card and account number). Further, when I wanted to make a deposit during their three-month-transition-period they had to physically mail my checks to some undisclosed location for processing, delaying funds in my account for a week at a time. I guess I'll be banking elsewhere this millenium. It's been real, Chase. A real pain in the ass. read more

I only became a Chase customer because they took over Wamu, which wasn't much better than Chase. During the transition period they lost two of my ATM deposits, one of which was $500 in cash, after I called them names they managed to *find* my deposit. One thing I will say in their favor is that every time I call them up and dispute the $35 overdraft fee they do reverse it. Every time. Then, yesterday I called to opt out of overdraft protection so now if I attempt to buy something with my debit card and I don't have the funds, I won't be able to buy it. Makes sense to me. As for this particular branch of Chase, I think it's curious that the manager always seems like she really needs a drink, all the female tellers except one are super bitchy and not very bright. I mean, you count money for a living and you can't do simple math? I would probably switch banks if I didn't have three accounts here. read more

WARNING: Do not get fooled by their sales tactics. They are always trying to upsell and upgrade your credit cards by offering bonus points, etc., which is fine, but they leave key pieces of information out and trick you into upgrading and paying higher annual fees. This is tantamount to FRAUD. In this instance, they sold me on upgrading my Marriott Bonvoy card, and I bought into it because I had an upcoming trip that could you the free anniversary night at a better hotel. I always got my free nights in September. My trip is in October. I upgraded and now pay higher dues only to find out that I don't get my free anniversary night in September any longer! The date has changed to next year, so it's of no use for me to have upgraded. I have many accounts and credit cards with Chase, but I will now be rethinking those and cancelling them one by one. read more

I love this bank I really do. What I am rating today is a specific person that works there. I have no idea that as a teller, you have the right to chew gum while talking to a client. It is so unprofessional. She can work somewhere else where people can't see them chew, like maybe a mechanic that does oil change or contractor that builds houses. You will laugh! You will cry! You will stare in disbelief! Step right up to Chase's teller line, where memories will be made, and possibly forgotten, as you age at a normal rate standing in one spot. Watch as a large bank that sucks your money away, for the crime of letting them hold your money in the first place, fails to pay enough employees to handle said money sacking in a timely manner. Even better, they put a glorified ATM on the inside in front of the teller windows. My guess it is some sort of attempt to get us to believe that it is another teller that dresses really boxy and "modern". However, they understand your frustration, so like a child who just received a shot, they offer suckers at the end of the adventure known as their line. I know this because I once saw a very large lady in a moo moo empty half the bowl in to her purse while the teller was not looking. (That is a true story). read more

After quite a series of debacles at US Bank in YV, which I had been a customer of since it was PFF in the 80's, I've switched to Chase. In 45 minutes, Chase created a fully functioning account with everything I needed, addressed some other banking concerns, and all with great courtesy and a smile. They will be getting some upgrades very soon with their ATMs as well. Both of my sons bank with Chase and I've never had an issue helping them deal with banking needs even though I wasn't a customer of Chase at the time. They've handled it professionally every time and I'm pleased to be part of them now. read more

Chase is a good bank. Most of the workers stayed over in the same branch. My only complaint is they don't let the tellers sit on a stool. They stand up all day, they deserve a break. I was just on the phone to the branch but they could not fit my immediate need bank-wise so I had to give them a 4 star. Now I need to check if Walmart can help me. read more
