These people are virtually impossible to deal with. I had successfully scheduled an appointment online to be seen regarding dizziness that was diagnosed as middle ear related a month ago at an urgent care. Their office called and told me that the appointment would be cancelled due to lack of a hearing test and lack of a referral. My insurance does not require a referral. Even though they conduct hearing tests at this office, they refused to see me. I am an existing patient but they were adamant that they would not honor the appointment. They won't ever have to worry about honoring any future appointments from me as none will be made. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I do not recommend this practice. read more

Don't go here if you value your time. I waited longer than anyone should both times I was there. The PA was nice (she is no longer in that position). She was way, way, way over worked! Never saw the doctor the first time I was there. Why do you need to select a doctor when you make an appointment online if you're not going to see them? He (not the one I selected) came in at the end of my second appointment and tried to make light of my problem, almost saying I didn't have a problem. That was the end of my involvement with this practice and I will never return. read more

My first encounter with Dr. Baskin was when I was in Northeast Georgia Medical Center. I had been intubated twice during my four week stay there and Dr. Baskin was checking for possible damage to my vocal cords. His bedside manner was very kind and upbeat. He fully explained what he was going to do and got through the rather unpleasant part as soon as possible. After I was released from the hospital someone from Dr. Baskin's office called me to schedule a follow up appointment. The day of the appointment I was seen prompting and both the nurse and Dr. Baskin were great. Both were kind and upbeat. Again they explained the procedure and completed it promptly. I am very appreciative of the excellent care I have received from Dr. Baskin and the staff of Northeast Georgia ENT. I highly recommend them. read more

Didn't go. When you call, you have to leave message for someone to call you back. It's a secret which drs are working from each of the offices, it's nowhere on web or website so I was calling to find out to check their reviews and couldn't get anyone to answer, I was asked to leave message. If they can't answer phone to set appointment and give info about practice, how responsive do you think this practice will be if you really needed to talk to someone. Sorry but when a medical practice does not have enough staff to answer phone and asks for you to leave message or takes more than 5 minutes to answer phone, I don't expect very good service if I became a patient. So I go somewhere else. read more

I have been a patient for over 3 years and the last 2 times have had to wait over a week or two for an appointment for a rather pressing matter. They don't care. Then I arrive to my appointment today after driving from a half hour away and arrive 10 minutes late because traffic was worse than it should have been. They refuse to see me and are so nonchalant about the fact that I had to wake my babies up early, that I just drove 30 minutes and I had been waiting over a week for this appointment. They said the PA Crystal has to leave on time today as if it's my fault they book appointments that close. I still saw them all these years despite the fact that one of the drs misdiagnosed my sons tongue tie when he was baby. I just took my kids to a pediatric ent. All these year they have been good. Dr. Butler and CJ were great. They always used to me get me in within days of calling. Now they don't care because they have apparently gotten too big to handle. Don't waste your time, they treat you as if they are that good that no one matters if they lose you as a patient. read more

I just love this office and I can't rave enough about the entire staff. I started going to Northeast ENT after I suffered a very unexpected rapid hearing loss. I started out seeing Dr. Baskin for repeated ear infections and associated hearing loss. Dr. Baskin is an awesome doc, with a great bedside manner. On my third or fourth visit to his office, he recommended placing tubes in my ears to help with the repeated ear infections. Since two of my children had tubes when they were young, I was familiar with the concept and was ready to schedule the procedure. No big deal.......outpatient procedure done under sedation .......... you can't imagine my surprise when the nurse came in a few minutes later with a surgical tray, prepping me for the procedure.......Since the ear was infected and very painful, I could not have been more anxious and I certainly acted not my age but more like a five-year-old. Dr. Baskin was super patient, explaining the procedure step by step and easing my anxieties. Dr. Baskin ordered an audiogram right in his office and subsequently, I was fitted for hearing aids secondary to the hearing loss. The audiologist Chris started taking over to address the hearing loss with appropriate hearing aids and his diligent attention to getting me back into the land of the hearing has been simply incredible. He has spent countless hours, fitting me for the aids, adjusting the tone levels, fine-tuning them, teaching me the Bluetooth functions and he is always available when needed. After getting my hearing back in check, I made an appointment with Dr. Garlich, another Doc at NGENT. I have suffered from a deviated septum and associated breathing issues for years and was hoping that correcting it would improve my ability to breathe -- especially while exercising. I picked Dr. Garlich as he has dual specialties as an ENT and as a plastic surgeon. I could not have made a better choice. He is a top-notch surgeon and I would have never guessed that I would find an incredible plastic surgeon in Gainsville, GA. Dr. Garlich and his assistant Diane could not be more compassionate, caring, and professional. I know I will be back for other procedures in the future. They even sent me flowers the day after surgery. The results are fantastic and I am sending all my friends over to him. The surgery was painless and In a nutshell.......I am a new person.......I can hear better, breathe better and I also look better thanks to the fantastic team at NGENT. read more

I had an excruciating earache over night ending with eardrum rupture. They squeezed me in to see the PA Crystal the next morning. She prescribed antibiotics and ear drops. Said that if I wanted steroids to call and she would call them in to pharmacy. The next night my other ear did the same. So with both ears messed up I called first thing and left a message asking if she would call in the steroids to help. This was Friday. I didn't hear anything back so I called and the PA Crystal was there for half a day and had left. What doctor does not check their messages before leaving for the day? I also talked to her nurse and she told me she took her computer with her so she may still check her messages and call in steroid. She said that if she didn't that she would have the physician on call to send it in. The end of the day came and nothing was done by either and it was the weekend. They obviously don't care about their patients. read more

I ruptured my ear drum in June 2017. I made an appointment with this office in October 2017 because it had still not healed. I asked for my appointment to be with a doctor that can talk to me about my next steps and possible surgical repair. I went in for my appointment, where they gladly took my $90 copay, and met with the doctor they gave me. Well, she looked in my ear and said it had not healed yet (which I obviously knew). She said I would have to speak with another one of their doctors that does surgical repair, but he wasn't in the office today. On top of me wasting a trip and having to come back another day, they told me I would have to pay another $90 copay to speak with the other doctor. My appointment should have been with that other doctor the 1st time. On top of this, they were extremely rude about the whole situation. These people are tricky and will look for any opportunity to squeeze more money out of every patient they see. PLEASE do not use this office. They do not deserve your business. read more
