There are some cool selections of alcohol. However, I've had a strange experience here twice before when buying lottery tickets. I tell them which lottery tickets and date I want to buy, even with them repeating it back to me. But after I've left I discover I ended up with tickets for a different lottery on a different day. I have been coming to this store regularly (about 1-3 times a week) for about 3 years now and overall, I like the staff that normally works here. It's a local business in my neighborhood that I try to support. Great people. However, the owner is the one who I don't care for. On several occasions, he has asked for multiple forms of I.D. and stared at length at me and back at my multiple forms of I.D., and then continued to give me a hard time about my age. On one occasion, he would not even sell to me. I get it, you don't want to get burned for selling to underage kids, but I'm well into my twenties and don't have problems like this ANYWHERE else I shop. Otherwise, I like this store. Beer selection is large, featuring local and top quality brews, prices are reasonable for a smaller business, and the location is easily accessible. I'll continue shopping here but don't appreciate the service from the owner. If you look even slightly younger than 30 and the owner happens to be helping you, expect a going over that feels like a background check, and if it's not worth your time, head to Prince Liquor down the street. read more

It's times like this that I'm happy I have somewhere to vent and complain. I came in here to buy wine and lottery tickets for my friend. As soon as I walk in, the clerk starts with the overly friendly comments. I go to buy the wine and he starts to flirt with me. He claims that I look Arabic.. yada, yada, yada.. I purchase my friend's usual Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay for $17.39.. overpriced but whatever; I'm in a hurry. I take it to her and we pop it open.. it has gone bad. Just horrible smell and taste. My friend drinks this stuff like water on a regular basis.. so she would know. I decide to take it back. An open container but it's pretty much full. When we get there, the guy continues with the flirting and says we can exchange the bottle. While we're looking, he decides to call his boss to make sure it's OK. The boss didn't allow an exchange or return. It ended up turning into a heated argument between the boss, clerk, and my friend. It wasn't much money but it was the principal of it... how can you sell rotten crap and get away with it? I'm never coming here again! read more

This shop is the best, the people who run it are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Hey it's a liquor store ok? I go here every now and then to pick up a lotto ticket, a water and maybe a soda. It's a quick, easy stop since it's in my neck of the woods. They have a pretty good selection of beers and booze, with the usual liquor store mainstays like candy etc. The last time I was in there, I did notice the clerk going out of his way to help a customer find a particular wine. Even going so far as to offer to make phone calls to distibutors. read more
