My only complaint is that I had set aside half of my dinner, because I didn't have the room to finish it there and had read on their website "extra food is placed in containers, labeled and stored in your kitchen, we package up any leftovers and leave them labeled in your refrigerator for you to enjoy the following day." Considering the amount that Kua charges relative to other private caterers, I was very disappointed that the rest of my dinner was gone and that I wasn't able to enjoy the rest of the delicious meal I had paid for. Other than that, only good things, but the chefs should really be required to ask the guests before taking home any food, and at the very least they shouldn't advertise it on their website as one of their selling points. This company does both. I assumed we would get Chef Lisandro but that's fine. Our chef was Luis and he was friendly, professional, and great with our kids who were curious about cooking. I love that all the meals were customizable- you just tell them what you want and they make it. Their fees are fair which is $115 per meal plus the cost of groceries which usually came out to $10-20 per person. The chef will also clean all the dishes and the kitchen before leaving. The shuttle fee was also $115 per way (a little steep in my opinion but if you have a large party it would make sense). Note: although they speak English, there were still moments where the language barrier was apparent. For instance, we asked for vegetable egg rolls to go with our Asian meal and instead of the fried spring roll you see at Chinese restaurants, our chef literally made an omelette with eggs rolled up like a log ;) the manager also only texts so if he doesn't pick up the phone, text him.
