I caution anyone who is even considering using this company! The bad reviews on here are right on.. This company over charges.. Does everything they can to rip you off..They showed up for my move around 9:45 and did not get started until 20 to 11.. There was an ongoing argument on what they were going to move.. Matt insisted it was a 2 day move and I told him it could be done in one .. Well they got going about 15 to 11 and were loaded at 12... The trip to the new house took forever because they took 45 minutes to eat but never the less they were finished by 3:30.. Matt did not want this 18 wheeler loaded in one day that clearly would have completed the job! Now I have to hire a second mover to finish the job.. Two of my pieces of furniture were scratched because of poor handling... Please listen to me and find yourself a more qualified professional mover... This was an awful experience and nothing was done to please me the customer!! I am going to do everything I can to discourage anyone who even thinks of hiring this company! read more

The first move out of my mother's and into the new house went smoothly because of Mike Patterson. The last move out of our home into our new home was absolutely awful. While I was busy moving boxes where they belonged, I signed off on the No-Damage. We had also paid for 100% protection and tipped generously. Later that day, we saw the following damages. Entire stairwell to the upstairs, both sides. Both inside laundry and garage doors. My son's Air-Hockey table broken. I emailed them promptly, and no one has gotten back to us. For 3,000, you would think I would have received a reply. I own a company in Little River that is all customer oriented, and never in a million years would I not respond to one of my clients, past or present. read more

Best moving experience ever and I was expecting the worst, even though we selected Chavis because of the good reviews. The estimator who came out was right about everything and friendly to boot. He was part of the reason we went with Chavis. We felt comfortable with him and in the end it proved us right. All went so smoothly and they had to hold our stuff on the truck for a week since we weren't able to move in right away. The men were fantastic. We had different packers from the I packers ( as we moved to a different state) and everyone was professional, careful, friendly and efficient. They went above and beyond in some circumstances, demonstrating again the great attitude and skills they possessed. We didn't have one missing, scratched or broken item from them( exc two plates that I packed myself) They dissembled tables and items, which I never anticipated they would do, and carefully wrapped them all. They covered our floors at both locations to protect them (never expected that) and were done with the loading and then the unloading in less time than I would've thought possible. I waited to write this review until all was unpacked and accounted for, and I am so happy to give them glowing reviews. I highly recommend them. It was hard work and I cannot believe they are able to do this on a daily basis but they do, and they are really amazing at how well they do it. They deserve all the kudos. read more

We had a great experience with the initial estimator (Matt) that came to our home but that is where the good experience ended. When it came time to have our furniture and boxes delivered back to our home we experienced many issues with the way things had been "plastic wrapped and taped" causing permanent undesirable wrinkles and tape marks in upholstered furniture pieces, as well as "chips" type damage to 6 large (either very new or antique value) furniture items. We have an 8x10 rug with a permanent crease down the middle from the way it was rolled up and stored. We thought this situation would be handled in a satisfactory way since there was "liability coverage", but "no" from them. They made over $3,000 on our storage and moving. We have spend over $1800. to correct damages and replace items (rug). If you value your posessions it would be wise to pass on this local service provider. read more
