Although Monty was very responsive at first, my whole experience ended up being a waste of time and money! This may be long, but worth reading so you don't get screwed! He showed up to my home looking like he hadn't showered in days....wearing baggy shorts and spongebob slides with socks. I let the lack of professionalism pass and hoped for the best. He explained that he didn't charge for labor, but charged a diagnostic fee of $100 instead. I wanted him to repair both my ice maker in my fridge, and my washing machine. His first comment was that the brands I owned were useless. He then googled something about the ice maker and decided it would be cheaper to replace the whole thing. Apparently that didn't include the auger, which is where I thought the problem might be..... The ice maker worked, it just wouldn't dispense cubed ice. It crushed the ice on both settings. He then went to the washing machine and removed the drain pump. There were a couple of small pebbles in the pump and he informed me it would need to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. While dismantling the machine to remove the part, he was less than careful with the control board, letting it slip and fall against the machine several times. My washer would go through a cycle before he touched it, it just wouldn't drain. I didn't notice until he was leaving that there was someone or multiple people in the car waiting. I assumed maybe they had dropped him off and had come back, as he was here the better part of an hour. When the parts arrived he came back to install them. He arrived at my house before I did, so when exiting my vehicle I noticed he had several children in the car with him. He left them in the car while he came in. Within 10 minutes I could hear screaming coming from outside my house and his phone started ringing. The 3 girls he brought (ages 7-11 maybe?) were fighting in the car. He finally went out to deal with them, and without even asking, brought them into my home. I offered to start a show for them to keep them occupied....what choice did I have? He replaced the pump in the washing machine and put it back together. He then replaced the ice maker. It was then that I had a friend show up to pick up something from me. I went outside to get what they needed and saw him going to his car. I fully expected him to come back in, as nothing had been tested and the fridge was still pulled out in the middle of the kitchen. He did not come back in, he just left. When I called and texted he answered the first time saying he was sorry but was in a hurry because he had his kids. I told him I would test them both and let him know. The ice maker still did the same thing....nothing but crushed ice, no cubed. The washing machine wouldn't even start, much less go through a cycle, so who knows if it would have drained or not. He didn't respond to any further calls or texts. I spent $200 for "diagnostics", $229 for parts that couldn't be returned, for nothing! I bought a new washing machine the next day and still don't have cubed ice. Last I heard, they don't even have a business license......AVOID THIS PERSON AT ALL COSTS!! read more

This guy scammed us out of $500 for a broken red unit (similar to the one in the pic) But had already sold that good set to someone else. He had taken their old broken set as he picks them up rehabs them and sells again. When we went to see the shop he informed us that he had the BROKEN SET and thay it would be fixed and repaired and then delivered to us. I was relieved because we do live pretty far away (90 miles) I asked him if it didn't work would he fix it he said YES fix or replace for 14 days. I felt reassured about the purchase. He NEVER mentioned that the set would need to be returned. He only told me that 4 days after dropping the set off and it was still broken with the same issues he told me the previous owners had but that it was an easy fix! It would not spin the clothes out, making crunching sounds and the dryer takes 3 cycles to dry. When I reached out expecting him to honor the verbal agreement we had in the shop that he would fix or replace he referred me back to the FB add ( for a set I didn't purchase) and told me "I will fix or replace it if you bring it back to me as my warranty states." I was stunned. Literally no words. I had explained that our truck was broken and that we didn't drive in the snow. I think he was banking on that fact as he was very quick to tell me that his warranty only covers it if I return it to him. By this point I realized he scammed me really bad. He took a broken set and flipped it with no repairs within 24 hrs. He hurt us financially as well because we have had to continue to drive over an hour to the. Nearest laundry matt to wash clothes. He is trying to play the victim and gaslit me into thinking I'm the probelm when we asked him to fix the issues. He then wants to tell me he won't help us unless we remove the bad review first! He can't continue to scam people if those people victimized speak out. I refuse to be a victim of not only his scam business practices but of his verbal abuse after the fact. He a a fraud. BEWARE!!
